Positive: This apartment was perfect. It is very clean, comfortable and modern. It is in a central location, close to the old town and great restaurants yet in a very quiet street. The apartment couldn't have been better equipped, it had everything we needed. Celia was extremely helpful and met us in person. She provided us with plenty of information and recommendations. Unfortunately our friend's car was too big for the adjacent parking space but Celia provided us with a secure, underground parking space about 15mins away. This was perfect for us as we didn't need the car during our stay. We were aware that a neighbour has a couple of dogs but they were very quiet in the evenings and during the night. We didn't hear them at all.
Negative: Everything was excellent.

Positive: Our host was very friendly and endlessly helpful. The apartment was clean, well decorated, and has the best equipped kitchen and bathroom I’ve ever experienced in holiday accommodation. You can cook a gourmet meal in that kitchen, and the bathrooms had everything I have in my medicine cabinet at home and more. The beds were comfortable and the living-dining room cum kitchen area was spacious. The location was on a quiet street, but with easy access to restaurants, supermarkets, banks and pharmacies, and just a 20 min walk to the Mesquita, Alcazar and waterfront, and a 15 walk to the train station. Can’t be more convenient!
Negative: The apartment lock was a challenge for seniors with joints problem in their fingers and thumbs. All four of us women in our seventies had trouble turning the key to open the door.
Summary: It would be difficult to find a nicer holiday apartment.
