Deerwood Station Guest Cabin is a beautiful family owned cabin located on the Deerwood Ranch. The cabin sits on the banks of the Middle Fork of the Little Laramie River. Brown Trout and Rainbow Trout inhabit the river. Our guests can just relax on the deck and enjoy the scenery or they can hike and fish on the property or cross country ski in the winter. The ranch is a Wild Horse Eco-Sanctuary so wild horse viewing is available. Wild Horse tours take place mid May-September. The tours take place Tuesday-Saturday. The tours typically last about 2 hours. They fill up fast so buy tickets on SimpleTix.com as soon as possible. Ticketing venue is set up in April. You can purchase tickets at that time.
The cabin sleeps up to seven people. Please add the correct number of guests to the reservation. Two people are charged differently than a family of five. We appreciate honesty!
We do have a strict no-refund policy. A date change request can be sent 30 days prior to check-in. The date change must be requested within the same calendar year as the original booking.

Summary: We first visited in 2022 and have come every spring break since to ski with the kids. We always have a great time. The cabin is very well stocked and a cozy place to relax. Our kids love the cabin and love seeing all the horses on the road in.

Summary: This was our second time staying at this beautiful, peaceful cabin. We are a family of 5, with kids ages 11, 9 and 4, and there was enough room for all of us. We enjoyed the serene beauty around us and seeing the wild horses as we came in and out of the property. It’s quiet and peaceful, the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of our every day lives. The hosts are great to work with and respond to any communication promptly. We would love to stay again if we come out this way in the future.

Summary: My daughter and I came to go skiing for the long weekend and this cabin was in the right location, so we reserved it. We did not expect the cabin experience to be equally as amazing as the skiing! It is a gem in a beautiful, natural location! The fire in the stove greeted us upon each arrival. It was cozy and relaxing, and we enjoyed our time in the cabin as much as our time on the slopes! The views of the horses also completely took our breath away! Jana and Rich were responsive and attentive hosts. They are good communicators and quickly helped us resolve any problems or concerns we had. We truly hope to come back here again and maybe even stay longer!

Summary: Absolute heaven on earth. This lil slice was just what we needed. Although it was arctic temps…the property was seriously magical. The 350 head of wild horses really put me in my happy place. Absolutely incredible. We planned to go into town to watch the Bronco game…yet loved the absolute coziness of the cabin that we opted to stay in and watch. So happy we did. Stsnding on the back porch made me feel like I was in 1800 old west. The bed was super comfy. Everything you need and was super clean. We will be back to experience another season here.
