Positive: Appearance. Very pleasing In forest so wonderful for bird watching Kitchen well furnished Bed very comfortable

Negative: Bugs upstairs … only one a day. Beetle that crept under the sheet Needed a night light … the salt crystal didn’t work maybe just burnt out

Positive: The apartment was very clean, had everything that I needed for cooking if I wanted, and it was very comfortable and quiet … and perfect for birdwatching. I chose it because it was so close to the entrance to the Cabo Blanco Absolute Natural Reserve (an easy 200 m walk), but was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable that I felt in my apartment.

Summary: For birdwatchers and lovers of other wildlife and nature it is perfect. Expect to be woken up in the mornings by howler

Positive: Beautiful, spacious, clean & cosy. It has every amenity you could need for a stay; parking, cooking, laundry, shower etc. Hosts were amazing throughout the stay…welcoming & attentive. The bed was huge and comfy and the hammocks outside were lovely too. No complaints at all about our stay - we extended for one night and would absolutely go back.

Positive: We LOVED everything about our stay at The Deer House. The owners are very friendly, attentive, and quick to help with any questions we had about the area and provided great recommendations. The room itself is very clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and the kitchen is well equipped. There is a fan and air-con which we were grateful for as we don’t like to sleep with the air-con on. The surrounding area is beautiful with lots of wildlife we saw deers, monkeys, horses, iguanas and lots of birds. It’s very peaceful and quiet at night meaning we had a great nights sleep.

Positive: Great place to relax and unwind in nature. You have everything you need to cook and chill in a relaxed air conditioned environment with hammocks outside. During my stay there were horses and deer roaming outside, with the sounds of monkeys and other wildlife. Also near the nature reserve and Isla de Cabuya for excursions. Highly recommended.
