Positive: The room is cosy, ducted heating on during cold Melb weather, everything is super clean and very quiet. Large lounge room and kitchen and nice period features. A great locale with shops and restaurants in walking distance. I have stayed many times and it’s very private, with only a few guest rooms the shared bathroom always available or pay a little more for the dedicated ensuite. Lily is the owner and lovely to deal with. Highly recommend.

Positive: I really liked the character of the house with various Japanese pictures around the place and a nice outdoor area where you could see lots of autumn leaves. Although it was clear that they had tried to fit as many rooms and toilets in the place as possible I still found it relatively quiet and found my small toilet to be cool and funky.

Negative: A fair amount of aggressive-sounding rules, 9:30 check-out time (I would have preferred if it was between 10 and 11am).
