Positive: Everything. It was just the perfect t stay with the perfect host. There was great communication before the stay. The room and premises were as beautiful or even better than in then photos on booking. The breakfast had a great variety of fresh produce (ham, cheese, mozzarella, cereals, fruits, yoghurt, juices, Croissants, muffins, soya or oat milk as alterrnatives, Biscotti and similar - and bread obviously. Plus the design and styling of the rooms and communal areas was a perfect marriage between the old building and modern decor - and all with very much attention to detail. Wine tasting was also available as Decanter House produces its own wine (as the name might give away :-), but we had sadly to time for it, as we were there for my son's EYBL basketball tournament watching him play. The house is beautifully set in the countryside but just a few minutes from Borgomanero center and ca 20 min from Lago Maggiore and just over 1h from Milan. We were looking first to book a place more towards Milan, but they all did not look half as nice as Decanter House. So I am very glad we stayed here and Manuela was the prefect host. And we will definitely be back !!!
