Positive: The homestay is newly built and it is surrounded by the rice fields. We love the breathtaking view and also the food and coffee there, everything is so good. Lovely & friendly hosts help us to arrange all our transportation, meals and whatever services you need you can just check with them. Not to forget on spending some time with their cute dog and cat. :)

Positive: A house nestled amidst terraced rice fields. One of the best places to relax and enjoy the beautiful Sapa views. It offers all the necessary accommodation, dining, and transportation services, all provided by the friendly and hospitable hosts. Even though I stayed only one night, it felt like home. The food and drinks are also perfectly suited to my taste. What impressed me the most was the newness of everything in the room, especially the insect-catching lamp. I’ve been to many natural areas, but this is the only place offering a insect-catching light in the room.

Negative: A few minor drawbacks: the room has only a small window and no air conditioning, so it can get stuffy and hot during midday in summer. Additionally, when the café is crowded, the homestay area might be a bit noisy.

Positive: The place is quite new. The young owners really take care of everything for you. We loved the design and overall we felt very good. It is located between ricefields and mountains so it is all very beautiful. It is about a 30 minutes drive from town. Therefore consider what you want to do, it is perfect to relax or a starting point for hikes. Transfer from Sapa town can be arranged and also motorbike rental and guided hikes. The food was very good and also the coffees and juices. We loved to share time with the pets (cat and dog).

Positive: Our stay at De Mong exceeded all our expectations! The staff are amazing and couldn’t have been more welcoming and accommodating. The homestay itself is stunning and is located on the bamboo trail which meant we could trek without a guide. Our room was clean, incredibly comfortable and homely. We also had some delicious food and great coffee during our stay. We will definitely be returning to De Mong one day. Special mention goes to Pam the cat and Happy the dog who made our stay extra special!

Positive: Our days in DE MONG were not only holidays for us, that was much more. Especially this homestay is run by a modern, totally helpful and dedicated couple. From the beginning, we felt at home, they took care of us all the time. Everyone on the team was super warm, not intrusive and honest. You are simply great people with beautiful hearts ❤️ There are wonderful animals in the homestay: a cat Pam and a dog Happy, spending time with the two and watching them was fun for us 🐈 🐕 As far as the location and the accommodation are concerned, what is perfect for us. Away from the noisy city, in the middle of nature, you could fall asleep well with the sounds of nature. The accommodation is comfortable, natural, rustic and very tastefully furnished. We haven't eaten in Vietnam as good as here yet! All dishes were freshly prepared, it tasted like Mom's. We only ate in the homestay every day! 😋 We could contact the host via WhatsApp at any time, received a quick response. He quickly organized a taxi for us, it was very uncomplicated. We booked a trekking tour with a loving guide here. It was fantastic, after that the host prepared us a foot bath for free. Thank you for your time, attention, the gift, help, great time and beautiful photos as a reminder of you and the place 🌾
