Negative: When I arrived, I was charged another £5 just to park my car outside. I didn't feel very 'welcome' at the Welcome Break at all. I've stayed there before and the facilities are nice but never had additional charges added on arrival before. The alternative was to get fined for overstaying in the car park which isn't an option. Disappointing.

Negative: Not very clean in the room, Coffee all up the wall and bathroom grubby. Lots of dust everywhere

Positive: Clean and quiet room. 75Mb WiFi. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They showed us the service road which allowed us to exit without making a long southbound loop on the M3. Excellent access to service area facilities including Waitrose and electric car chargers.

Negative: Nothing really.

Summary: Excellent value stay in a clean, quiet room with ultra friendly and helpful staff.
