Summary: Went with a friend for the Canfield fair, front desk person was very nice, even offering us each a complementary drink to go with the room. The rooms were nice and basic, as long as you don't mind a more low key and old school motel I'd say it's a great choice. The room and beds were clean, and again, for the price it is hard to go wrong. We specifically love the old school vibe of a local small motel so if you're into that, give the place a shot! The soap was the ONLY part I wasn't crazy about, but I usually expect almost all hotel/motel soap to be lackluster so I brought my own. It is fine for hand washing, but a nice lather is lacking in the shower.

Summary: Staff great. Do not be deceived by the outdoor appearance which looks dated. The rooms are very clean; nice bedding and pillows, very simple. Bathroom totally functional. Great value for the price and superb location. I'm very happy I stayed there. And the air conditioning, one of those wall units, was reasonably quiet. Parking easy.

Summary: I checked in late but the woman at tbe desk was very friendly and helpful, and the "welcome bag" with bottled water and snacks much appreciated. The room was dated, but very clean.

Summary: I was not going to write a review, but I think in this case it needs to be written, I booked this place because it got a 8.6 , not sure how this is even possible for an 8.6 rating apparently these people have never stayed in a motel in their life, this has been family run for about 50 years but they need to really get their property together ,get the people that are living there to move along, this place is surrounded by three truck stops the parking lot is dingy dark scary no lighting in the back of the property there's a broken down cars back of the woods, I was alone traveling by myself I was so scared the first night and I booked five nights ,that I did not return, I took my stuff and left, I came back the day after and checked out the girl was nice she gave me $100 refund, out of the $350 because I told her I did not feel safe at all and she says oh yeah the police monitor the parking lot because they're looking for people with warrants that is not a good reputation for a motel, I do have to say the staff was very nice and I know the owners are trying to keep the motel in business, but they really need to reevaluate the situation and make it more safe and accommodating for solo travelers, redo the parking lot get some better lighting and some security and fix the other side of the hotel so it doesn't like you're staying in a back alley,it was pretty scary, I never like to say bad things about places but I would have to say this place is one of the worst I've stayed in

Summary: June 2026: If you just need a comfy bed and a good night’s sleep, this is the place. It’s not fussy or fancy, but it’s CLEAN and quiet. It’s a vintage motel right off the highway with gas stations and fast food in walking distance, and Walmart 15 minutes away. We arrived at midnight, and felt safe and welcomed there. It smelled clean when you walked into the room. Bed was firm and the pillow was huge. AC worked perfectly. No coffee in the room, but it’s in the office 24 hours a day, hot and delicious. Clean microwave and mini fridge; no iron or hair dryer though (didn’t need those so it didn’t matter to us). The floors, bathroom, and bedclothes were clean. Laundry room onsite; you can buy detergent in the office. I didn't use the laundry, but I did peek in. It was $4 (I think) to wash; not sure how much to dry. Worth it for the convenience of having it onsite. Staff was nice, friendly, and helpful in answering questions. I would definitely stay there again.
