Positive: Super clean, fresh, great beds and temperature, quiet rooms, breakfast was good- attendant was on top of things and very pleasant, accessible from I76.

Negative: The bathroom light- while great getting ready and a nice design feature- was BLINDING in the dark- really actually blinding.

Positive: Hotel was clean and staff friendly. We traveled with 2 service dogs and staff did ask the correct questions and that was the end of it. Breakfast was ok. Options were cereal, egg, pancakes, burnt hard bacon, sausage. Its enough to get by. Most hoildays in have an amazing sausage gravy we were looking forward too.

Negative: The hotel was in the middle of a remodel, and the location is horrible. There is nothing to eat around except McDonald's, Pizza Joes, Gyro, or Dairy Queen. These were the only options with door dash. When you turned in the tub, the shower stared leaking also. The stopper was off if the sink and laying in the sink i put it back on. I'm just nitpicking at this point.

Summary: Horrible location, nothing to door dash around, middle of a remodel, Clean hotal, Friendly Staff.

Positive: The staff was great. Very professional and congenial. The room was very clean. Breakfast was good except they were out of yogurt. When your selection is limited, being out of something means a bit more.

Negative: Nothing was terrible. But, it was not up to the standards that you expect from a holiday inn express. The room was very clean. There was some peeling wallpaper, and stains in the bathroom from what was probably a leak on an upper floor. These would be relatively easy fixes but they weren't fixed. The breakfast seems to be the same at every Holiday Inn Express based on my recent experience. This one was equal to others I have experienced recently except they were out of yogurt. I arrived for breakfast shortly after the opening time of 6:30 a.m. and there was only one Greek yogurt left, which I took. But anyone coming later found the case empty. It's a small thing, but the elevator was a bit dirty and obviously hadn't been swept recently. Even less important but noticeable was the flag flying outside the hotel. Only half of it was left and it was shredded but still flying. Better to take it down. A bit nitpicky for sure but you expect to get what you pay for and this holiday express didn't quite live up to that expectation.

Positive: Location just off the turnpike was very good. Breakfast was good....Holiday Inn's breakfast are always good. The facility is nice but definitely has not been updated recently.

Negative: The guests on the floor above us were very noisy. Sounded like they had children who were not used to moving quietly. Facility is showing age and needs cosmetic updates. Wallpaper is seperating, carpet is pulling away from walls in the hallways, door key had to be jiggled in order to work.

Summary: will stay again when in that area
