Positive: Excellent place to stay in the region before and after climbing Adam’s peak. Beautiful garden, private terrace and super hospitable host. Breakfast and dinner were good. Perfect spot to chill after the climb to Adam’s peak.

Positive: Our stay at Daresh home stay was great. The host is super welcoming and generous with food and will help you sort out anything. Adam's peak was a 20-30 min tuk tuk drive away and during the day you can take the bus. The location is great, next to a river (so it is a bit humid just be aware) and tea plantations. We enjoyed it a lot.

Positive: I really enjoyed my stay here. The room is very spacious and surprisingly quiet, even though the house is close to the road—I slept extremely well. The only sounds you hear are the stream nearby and nature all around. I loved the terrace with its beautiful view of the tea plantations, with little squirrels running around. The Wi-Fi worked very well, so I could easily work remotely. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful, and the breakfasts were delicious, generous, and different every day.

Positive: Absolute dream stay! We’ve been in Sri Lanka almost a month and I think this is my favourite homestay! The views on the balcony of the tea fields were lovely and every meal made for us was absolutely delicious! Some of the best food we’ve had! The room was clean and comfortable and shower hot with good pressure. I couldn’t recommend it here more! About 30 mins drive to do the Adam’s Peak pilgrimage (although we didn’t do it) and stunning views all around the lake.

Positive: The hosts of this homestay are so nice! The breakfast and dinner are great. Maskeliya is a beautiful location in the mountains and is not part of the standard itinerary.

Negative: Maskeliya is located in the mountains so take some warm layers in your suitcase. The host is very attentful with an extra blanket, but just be sure

Positive: View up to the tea estate, quiet and clean. Only stone throwing distance from Maskeliya Junction. Attentive and accommodating host family. Hot water and good tea . Adam's Peak is 20 minutes bus ride away. Highly recommend.
