Positive: I have to agree with the other comments, absolute best food we had so far ! The house and rooms are very cute all painted, the shower is warm and the hosts are so friendly, we'd love to come back!

Positive: If you're looking for a 5 star hotel, this isn't it. However if you are looking for a traditional Berber home and hospitality, this is the place for you. With a traditional breakfast, rooms, and located in the village near Kelaat, I recommend this stay.

Negative: The upstairs room did get quite hot during the day.

Positive: Mohammed and Fatima are the most welcoming hosts. An authentic Moroccan Dar (home) shared with a warm and genuine family. Fatima provided a tasty home cooked tagine dinner for us. Breakfast was nice too. Fatima and her daughter also managed two large loads of washing for us, and got it dry by the next morning (we had been on the road for 2wks). Our room was very comfortable and the bathroom was for our use only. We met the neighbour (and her children) who is photographed making the bread for our dinner. If we can ever return to Morocco we would just love to stay again at Dar Mayssa Rose with family Baba.

Positive: Really welcoming and helpful. Mohammad knows some English which helps a lot. Lunch and dinner were also exquisite with really good portions. Breakfast can be done on the terrace which has a magnificent view on the valley and mountains. Its surrounded by many houses there were damaged and could be hard to find, but they sent me the most precise instructions, so I had absolutely no problem finding it.

Negative: Not much warm water for showering

Positive: Tranquil. Nice family experience. Very dedicated, friendly and personable host. Beautiful views on Terrace. Fatima’s meals were the best over 3 weeks in Morocco.

Summary: It was a highlight of our trip. The host went above and beyond to accommodate us.
