Positive: Staff was very welcoming. Taxi could stop at the hotel entrance. Nice terrace but no pool in the terrace.

Negative: Its a max of 2 or 3 star hotel which need total renovation. Paid 300 Euro/day for a room with no TV,no refrigirator and no coffee facilities. Too many stairs to reach the room. The room had no sunny window-just a small window to the inside court. Smelled in mould. Breakfast was an extra of 20 Euro/person per day. City tax was an extra 3.5 Euro/person per day.

Positive: Genuine, warm welcome in a beautiful riad conveniently located near many of the interesting sights in the city. Behind the discreet door is an oasis of cool water and orange trees, extremely comfortable beds (great pillows!) and cozy, individually decorated rooms. My room was dark and cool and I had one of the best night's sleep in years Breakfast and dinner on the rooftop were excellent, and served with professionalism and warmth The owner and concierge are both lovely, with lots of recommendations for things to do, places to eat, and so on

Positive: Beautiful place. Exactly as on the pictures or even nicer.

Negative: The authenticity of the place. The stuff takes pride of taking care of guests and treats this place as its home. Every single member of the crew of dar el Cigognes is very kind and helpful in every way they can.

Summary: We had amazingly relaxing time during our stay. The atmosphere at Dar is peaceful and friendly.

Positive: The interconnected riads were fabulous - the location, decor, breakfasts were all wonderful! But what really set the property apart was the manager Hayat and concierge Hajiba - the warmest, loveliest ladies we met in Morocco

Negative: My room was a bit dark for reading but that’s such a minor point

Positive: An oasis of calm in the heart of the city, the warm welcome and exceptional staff made the stay feel like home. The rooftop terrace was superb and was a lovely space in which to have breakfast or home cooked evening meals. Hamman & massage treatments in their private rooms were great. Location was perfect for exploring the Medina with views of the palace walls from the terrace. Most of all though, it was the warm and caring staff who delivered such a high level of service in a beautiful peaceful setting, that made the stay in Marrakech so memorable.

Negative: Nothing to dislike at all!!

Summary: Beautiful peaceful Riad with warm & caring staff, very highly recommended.
