Positive: Colorful riad, I really liked the local atmosphere, decorations. Friendly and helpful owner and staff. Appreciated the tea and cookies upon arrival. Very close to souks and areas of interest in the old center. Nice outdoor terrace where breakfast is served and a particularly tasty honey next to the pancakes served in the morning.

Negative: Local savory options for breakfast would have been appreciated - specially for those staying many days.

Positive: Fantastic location, friendly hosts, good hospitality. Cosy terrace.

Negative: My room was not available upon arrival (affecting many guests) despite booking and paying well in advance. Although this was resolved quite swiftly, I was allocated to a different room (economy) with no functioning hairdryer which had barely any storage space, and one functioning power socket. The reservation was cancelled by Booking.com, and I then had to pay the property directly for the room. Apparently it's my fault? I felt overcharged. Upon speaking directly with the owner, I was accussed of being "impatient" who spoke limited English. I didn't think it was a very professional way to speak to your guests. Whilst I valued their hospitality and cooking, I felt quite uncomfortable by the constant shouting in Arabic in the background. I'm quite an understanding person, but please direct your stress and frustration and fix the systemic problem. I would've left a better review but I didn't really expect the gaslighting before my departure.

Positive: This place is a hidden gem. Walkable to downtown. We got breakfast served at the terrace. Delicious hot tea and squeezed OJ. The host was very warm and friendly. Our stay was very enjoyable.

Positive: It was a beautiful and newly decorated property with a gorgeous roof terrace to retreat to. The owner and staff are fantastic- very friendly, helpful and respectful. They went above and beyond for my wife and I and our 1 year old baby. Dinner is available at the property too which was delicious, local cuisine with very generous portions and multiple courses. They also catered for our specific dietary requirements. The included breakfast was the same. The location is an easy walk to the main square through the markets and there are local shops really close for other bits like water and snacks. When we return to Marrakech we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. 100% would recommend for anyone.
