Located in one of the oldest districts of the Medina, just behind the souks of Bab Khemis 15 minutes from the souks and museums, 20 minutes from Jemaa El Fna square. Riad Aldiana invites you to share a peaceful tranquility after the tumult outside.
A taxi picked up from the airport (highly recommended) will drop you at the door of the Riad or your hosts will welcome you with a mint tea and Moroccan pastries.
Refurbished in accordance with traditional Moroccan architecture, the Riad has 2 bedrooms distributed at the entrance to the ground floor and on 2 sides of the bright patio on the 1st floor.
Our rooms have all been the subject of a personalized decoration bringing to each a particular charm with traditional techniques and building materials, such as zellige, stucco, tadelakt, wrought iron or chiselled stucco. Bedspreads and windows draped in colorful fabrics.
A homemade breakfast is served each morning if desired. A host table is also at your service by reservation, Moroccan specialties can be prepared for dinner on the patio or on the terrace (couscous, tajines, kebabs, pastillas, salads) as well as drinks, or possibly other European specialties.
Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas.
On the second floor, a superb private and tree-lined terrace on which you can enjoy a romantic breakfast or meal in complete privacy, have a snack break or refresh yourself with a cold drink.
Completely redone with zellige pool in which you can cool off by 2m / 2. 50m, solarium with deckchairs for a moment of relaxation. Chairs and tables, pergola, wrought iron benches at your disposal.
On the upper floor a 2nd panoramic terrace, from where you can discover the Medina in all its aspects, the summits of the Atlas or a superb sunset if the weather permits.

Summary: The property is a traditional Riad, with a central courtyard, which stayed cool when everywhere else was scorching. The hosts were so eager to please, they booked us trips, got up early to make breakfast on days when we had early starts and made recommendations. We had an evening meal one night cooked by the hosts which was amazing.

Summary: Quiet location in old medina. Lovely hosts from France who helped in so many ways! From safe rides and directions for drivers for our excursions to Sahara and Casablanca to the great breakfasts and 2 dinners Francoise prepared. Was a bit cold at night (Jan.) but they had a nice heater in common space and plenty of blankets. Short showers for hot (as in all of Morocco) Unfortunately no use of kitchen. Very accommodating! Would stay again~

Summary: I stayed for one week in Riad Aldiana with my mother and 2 sisters. We had a wonderful time, many thanks to Francoise and Yves (they also live in the house). In normal life I work as a housekeeper, so this holiday was very pleasant and lazy. The house is situated near the souks, please note that many doors from the square (souks) are closed in the evening, so you have to take a longer walk. Yves and F are very nice cookers! They make for you a 3 course dinner for €15,- pp. My sisters and I share the same man 'Andreas' (he lives in Greece), so we know when food's good. We only missed the usual cigar. We also made a trip to Ourika, because we thought Andreas might visit us with his boat. unfortunately Andreas was to busy with his work (Chios Yachting) but then the magic happened!! My sister's husband Lucas died 2 years ago, so she had a bad period with no bed romans, but then she met our guide/driver Jamal. She felt in love! Because they were to busy together, note; in the car, in the Berber house (Jamal and my sister were in the cow's stable right....... ;-)))), so we didn't visited the waterfall, but nothing is nicer than a happy sister! Let's hope Jamal will visit her very soon. Have a good trip to Marrakech and say hi to the camels.
