Summary: The lodge is wonderful, serving staff are top rank . Its spotlessly clean and stylish, the food is of a high standard and portions very generous. Good coffee available also . The lodge is surrounded by rainforest teeming with life ....birds / lizards/ monkeys/ frogs/ spiders. I have a particular interest in phoneutria sp ....wandering spiders and saw many at night ....such impressive spiders....and shy and calm........wanted to see them for many years, and danta made a reality. Its definitely worth booking a night walk with juan...he is very knowledgeable about the local wildlife .....and the taxi service danta lays on is excellent and a lovely lady who greets you . My only thought is that a swimming pool would have been the icing on the cake .....and i would of given it 5 stars ......as it stands this lodge still gets a sllid 4.5 stars .

Summary: We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All of the lodge buildings are very sympathetically designed, and blend well with the surroundings. Everywhere is very clean and maintained to a high standard. We loved sitting on the bar stools and watching the monkeys and morpho butterflies. All staff were polite, friendly and helpful, and assisted us with booking excursions. The food was very tasty and beautifully presented, as were the cocktails! We loved the quirky bed in our cabin, and enjoyed sitting on the veranda and watching all the wildlife in the creek below - juvenile caimans, turtles, lizards, dragonflies, and my absolute favourites - hummingbirds. Listening to the orchestra of sounds at night was at night was fantastic! We did a night walk and we're amazed at our guide's knowledge, enthusiasm, and ability to spot creatures that we would never have seen without him! The trails within the grounds are easy to follow, and there is so much to see - including the resident sloth - ask the staff and they will point him out to you. I was thrilled to see so many hummingbirds. Danta Corcovado Lodge is a great place, and all staff work hard to ensure that guests are well looked after and enjoy their stay.

Summary: Great location. Bungalow was very comfortable. Meals were very good. Really enjoyed the Corcovado Park tour. Will come back.

Summary: It was an awesome arrival. We expected a fantastic lobby , but it was lovelier than even on the internet. Very friendly staff, exzellent services, very good choices of breakfast, lunch and dinner. Then the unexpected jungle pathway over bridges and walkways to the separate lodges. Our lodge Marvilla was wonderfull with a huge outdoor bathroom in the middle of the jungle. There are incredible private walkways , even a lookout tower to see the treetop jungle beneath. A very very private and lovely experience for our family ( 2 kids 10/12).

Summary: Wonderful hotel if you are looking to get away from it all and immerse yourself in nature! Make sure you have a 4x4 or good car to get there as the roads are not great. No cell service but there was good wifi. Loved the hiking trails and it’s about a 30 minute drive to puerto Jiménez. Staff was wonderful, food was good and we overall loved our stay!

Summary: Beautiful wildlife eco tourism facility. Many trails and opportunities right there to view the OSA Peninsula biodiversity. Meals were fabulous. We stayed in their one concrete “hobbit house” like facility which was Charming but lacked good sir circulation to cool down for sleeping despite 2 fans.

Summary: The staff especially Maria was fantastic and so is the dog Maya. Maya will even go for a hike with you if you pet her and show a little attention. The trails on the property are expansive and beautiful. My son Maya and me went on a three mile hike and was still on property grounds. The bird viewing tower is an excellent place to see dawn and dusk when the tropical birds are most active.

Summary: A beautiful property, wonderful and unique cottages. No mobile signal but every cottage has good wi-fi. Maya - their resident dog, a beautiful, quiet girl. Nice cocktails. Food options are limited as they have a small menu, but food was nice. 10 mins from the beach. I'd highly recommend the place.
