Positive: We did not stay in room # 10 that we booked. We ended up staying 2 nights, we upgraded to the Tamarack Suite for 1 night and the Daniell Suite for the other. Both rooms were beautiful and excellently appointed with antique furniture and shining oak floors. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were spacious and very clean. Nice snack packs and bottles of drinking water were available in both rooms. Both Tyler and Lydia were friendly and very helpful to us by taking care of our needs and requests.

Negative: The only issue we had was difficulty in navigating the door code system. The code I was given did not work and I had to ask a member of staff for assistance. It went fine after that with the codes.

Summary: Excellent stay in a beautiful vintage hotel!

Positive: Historic house with ground floor parlor beautifully cared. Well stocked with snacks, coffee, tea and water.

Negative: Entrance needs lighting, tripping hazard.

Summary: Midway between Houghton harbor and Copper Harbor.

Positive: The room was luxurious! It felt like I was living in a historic mansion. It was immaculate, spacious, great shower, easy self check-in and complementary drinks and snacks that exceeded a 5 star! I travel quite often and this was by far the best hospitality I’ve experienced in decades.

Negative: Not a single issue or complaint!
