Positive: Solid/healthy meals (dinner and breakfast). Gorgeous views and setting. Alex was particularly helpful, and helped us to leave our car there for three days after we left the hotel and went on a three day trek from the hotel to Petra.

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Dana Trail Hotel and truly enjoyed our time there. The food was absolutely amazing, and the views were unforgettable, making it a very special place to relax and unwind. Our host, Alex, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made the experience even better. The rooms were very comfortable and provided the perfect place to rest and recharge. Unfortunately, due to bad weather and a tight itinerary, we didn’t get the chance to do any of the trails, but that just gives us a great reason to come back and stay longer so we can fully explore the area next time. One thing to keep in mind is that the shower temperature can switch between hot and cold, but this wasn’t an issue for us. We were simply grateful to have a shower after a day of travel. A beautiful place with a warm atmosphere, and we’re already looking forward to returning.

Negative: That we had such a tight itinerary we couldn’t properly explore so please if you are planning to go book more than one night!

Positive: Alex is a very friendly and supportive worker!! He gave us all the information we needed and supported us in anything we needed. The place is at the bottom of the city and this provides special views.

Negative: The access is a problem with normal cars at this moment. You have to take a 4x4 car free of charge to get down, again, at this moment, I guess the owner will solve this soon.

Positive: Mohamed was an excellent host, friendly and helpful! He organized for us an amazing hike. The views from the room are just astonishing (and arguably the best in the valley)😍😍. The five of us all loved it. We would strongly recommend you to book a stay there. A big thank you to Mohamed again!

Positive: Best view I ever saw in Dana right from your bed. The perfect spot to forget about stress and work. Accessible from Dana village but far enough to feel completely at peace. Beautiful room, comfortable beds, amazing and welcoming staff. Highly recommended!

Positive: Wonderful view on the valley, great organisation of the trails with the guide, and very welcoming staff. The rooms were very clean and the shower was great. Abdullah is a great guide and he starts trails with you. The cook was wonderful and her food amazing. Our host is one of the nicest persons you’ll ever meet.

Positive: We had a fantastic stay at the Dana Trail Hotel as part of a hiking holiday. The hosts were extremely accommodating and made our stay a really lovely and memorable experience. The room was spacious and beautiful, with an amazing view of the Dana reserve valley. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent.
