Positive: The property is in a beautiful, quiet location. The host Jamie, has lovingly converted the barn into two separate apartments. Where he has kept original features like the stonework in the bedroom. The bed is large & super comfortable.

Negative: Only slight downside was when you’re led in bed & the upstairs neighbours flushed the toilet, it sounded like a bucket of water was being poured over your head!

Summary: Lovely location, with thoughtful finishing touches. Would stay here again!

Positive: Hide away location, cosy home feel, not far from the centre of Ripon, nice country road drive into town. A great starting location to get to local walks and more :) They had a dog. Helped with a change of tyre. (Muchas Gracias) Accommodating via whatsapp to any issues/questions. 👍

Negative: Like a rollercoaster, you must not exceed a certain height, for me at 6f1 it was comfortable but if you are 6"4 this may be not so desirable. If I was to pick something for someone else. Nothing to complain about at all, I enjoyed spending time there :)

Positive: Excellent facilities in a very quiet , almost hideaway country location at the end of a private road . Owner host very friendly , basic food essentials including fresh bread provided. All just a few miles from the North Yorks national park

Negative: Rather ify mobile phone reception due to location in valley . Was quite difficult to find , but owner gave excellent directions .

Positive: Home from home, everything you could of needed was there for you, they thought of everything(almost). The welcome pack was a nice touch and the guide was so user friendly and helpful. We were only there 3 nights but wished we could have stayed longer! We'd have no hesitation staying there again, or telling others about the place.

Negative: Small things NOT detrimental to spoiling our stay in anyway at all - but perhaps could be considered to be reviewed? Bedroom curtains thicker lined or blackout curtains ( in bedroom only). A small stool or small bedroom chair by the big bedroom mirror - as there is space for one there - for the ladies doing hair/makeup, to sit at. Tv in bedroom didn't seem to work, no biggy for us but advised the owner - ready for next guests.

Summary: Nice, peaceful and relaxing, quality accomodation.
