Positive: Attended Cologne Christmas Market; this room w/connected bathroom and shower is on the top (3d) level, landlord has a private parking place that costs 15 Euro/day; recommend parking the car and taking the train to the Cologne cathedral/center of town (takes approx. 10 minutes.) Very happy with the price of the room (we had 3 adults and the room has 1 double bed and 1 sofa bed,) its cleanliness and communication with the landlord.

Summary: Excellent value; especially if you have a car!

Positive: The owner of the apartment was very friendly and welcoming. The room has a balcony where you can sit.

Negative: The room was on the 3rd floor, where you need to go up through a narrow and very poorly lit staircase. with luggage it is even more inconvenient. There were no shops or bistros nearby.
