Negative: Small room. Poor bathroom design with wet floor (no separate shower) and lacked mirror over the sink. House located on main road but very little traffic after hours and not a problem.

Positive: Breakfast was not included here. Our hostess was most welcoming and very friendly. I particularly appreciated the fact that she let us check in early because of the storm. Thanks, Storm Floris! The electricity was off for a little while, but she offered to make us some boiling water from the gas stove, which was very much appreciated. The room was cosy and the bathroom was great. Not sure if the floor had underfloor heating, but it was really good! It was a nice touch to have a fridge provided in the room and cutlery and a table and chairs as well, for if you were doing your own food.

Negative: The bed was a little firm for my liking, but that is a preference thing, rather than a comment on what was actually provided.

Summary: Very welcoming and friendly host, who does her best to make you feel at home.
