Positive: I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Da Sugar House in Exuma, and I can honestly say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the property felt like a home away from home, with its cozy charm and perfect location. The house itself is beautifully designed—tastefully decorated, spacious, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing getaway. What truly set this stay apart, though, was the host, Steve. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, from offering local tips on the best beaches to making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. His hospitality made us feel welcome and taken care of every step of the way. The location of Da Sugar House is perfect—peaceful and secluded, yet close enough to all the wonderful sights and activities Exuma has to offer. We especially loved spending time on the private porch, enjoying the breeze and the breathtaking scenery. If you're looking for a peaceful and memorable escape in Exuma, I can't recommend Da Sugar House and Steve enough!

Positive: Steve was an amazing host! He not only provided us with so many recommendations of what to do and see in the island but he also arranged the car rental for us and picked us up and dropped us at the airport already with the car. He was extremely friendly and keen to help. The house was lovely, with a comfortable bed, AC, and a very functional kitchen. Highly recommended!

Positive: Steve! Can we say more. By far the best part of our almost three week trip across the Bahamas. Very welcoming and well well stocked accommodations. Steve went out of his way to ensure our stay was well organized and enjoyable. Property had all the basics to feel at home support us during the trip.

Positive: amazing owner who makes the entire stay a great experience. Steve picked us up from the airport and did some shopping for breakfast and recommended the best restaurants and beaches on the island. The kitchen in the house is super equipped.

Negative: the location could be better - without a car it's not possible. slow wifi very noisy and old air conditioning

Positive: Steve's house is amazing. It fully reflects the description on Booking but most of all, is Steve who makes your stay unique. He not only offered unique insights on the islands, but helped us in organising all the activities locally and kindly picked us up and drove us around multiple times despite not being part of any service advertised here. His kindness, availability and efforts are really the gem which made our stay special. The house is in a wonderful position in the middle of the islands in a very safe, calm and green area. The closest grocery shop is less than 1 min drive, while the closest beach is again 1-2 min drive. The house has everything you may need: scuba diving goggles, towels, coffe machine, beach chairs etc...it really makes you feel home away from home. Steve is also honest and reliable host, so you can definitely trust him. Shall we go back to Exuma, we would definitely be back to Da Sugar House.

Positive: Steve our host could not have been more helpful and his local knowledge really helped us make the most of our stay. Organised car hire and picked us up from the airport and took us back when it was time to leave. It made the whole experience very easy.
