Summary: Our second time to stay in house and just as before overall was great. Our grandchildren didn’t even want to leave!! I put a 4 rating on neighbors only because we’re country folks and neighbors are close but if someone don’t mind the closeness it is great. House is set in you good place for being near to Historical town of Fort Scott!

Summary: We had an unexpected trip to Fort Scott, Ks and when I booked this home there was a slight miscommunication but thankfully the Host, Sandy and Vrbro worked together to make sure we got in on are day of schedule. Sandy was beyond helpful and did her best to accommodate the guest. The house is very welcoming as soon as you walk through the front door. From what I looked up the house was built in 1910. If you like the older homes, you definitely will enjoy and appreciate this house. It not only has the old time feel /look to it but with the accommodations of new amenities. It was clean and with a flower smell!! I gave it four stars for three reasons: 1. We are not made perfect!! 2. The first slight check in but well taken care of. 3. We had our dog with us and neighbors next door had plenty of cats!! For the most part of our stay it was relaxing and had what was needed for a comfortable stay without packing a lot of unnecessary things. Fort Scott, Ks has plenty to do if you like to explore historical things. The house sits close enough to town that you could walk to it if your a walker!! If we ever make it back to Fort Scott, Ks again, I know where we would be staying!! Definitely will book again!!

Summary: Overall a great little place, plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen is awesome. The living room carpet needs to be cleaned, the railing going upstairs is unstable and should be fixed. The back yard is a bit messy.
