Our 2,500 square foot residence was built in 2015 and won the People's Choice category in the Durango Parade of Homes. The residence features 4 bedrooms and 4 baths and is located 5 miles (9 minutes) from downtown Durango and 33 miles from Purgatory ski area and just 5 mins from Lake Nighthorse.
Situated on 3.6 acres offering privacy and seclusion - yet just minutes from downtown Durango and at an elevation of 7,200 feet, always cooler in the summer than downtown. Enjoy an alpine setting with room to roam and exceptional views, while being close to all of the incredible amenities and recreation you come to Durango to experience. Each of the bedrooms have an AC Unit for those few days of summer when opening the windows at night is not quite enough to cool the home down.
The house features amazing outdoor living space including a hot tub, gas fire pit, dining table, pergola, 2nd outdoor table and couch, gas grill and hammock with room for two. The generously equipped kitchen features gas stove, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The main living space features a wood burning fireplace, wood floors, and a 48" flat screen TV. The professional ping pong table is located in the garage along with Corn Hole and Ladderball. We also offer fast Starlink WIFI and Direct TV.
The house sleeps 12 and is perfect for multiple families as it features two living spaces each with TV and the upstairs living space features a multi-arcade game with 60 classic arcade games and 3 of the 4 bedrooms have in suite bathrooms and TVs. The 4th bathroom is located off the loft.

ATVs cannot be ridden on the property or in the neighborhood. Depending on specific conditions, 4WD or AWD may or may not be required between late December and early March.
This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay).
Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).
Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Summary: We had a great time staying at this property. Plenty of room for families and a great location.It is located in a quite forested neighborhood just a short drive to downtown Durango. We will definitely return for another stay if we come back to this area.

Summary: There were 9 of us, and it was plenty big. The kitchen needs to be stocked with more storage containers for leftovers. Its be nice to have more board games for different ages. But overall it’s a very nice property and a quick drive to downtown Durango.

Summary: This property was FANTASTIC and clean with lots of great amenities! We enjoyed the nature and the back patio. The only thing I would say is the rocked area going to the hot tub is kind of dangerous with little light and unsteady ground. Be careful! Otherwise, the hot tub and night sky to relax and look at the stars is INCREDIBLE! Thank you so much!

Each room had its own bathroom which was wonderful! We had a little bit of hot water heater issues but it was resolved quickly! The fire place was a nice indoor touch! Ping Pong table was a hit with the kids! Great place overall!

Summary: We loved staying here. We loved each room having its own bathroom. The kids loved the arcade game. The ping pong was a hit as well. We loved seeing the deer visiting the property. The closeness to town was also nice. Loved that there was lots of outdoor seating around the fire table and other areas of seating outside as well.

Summary: Everyone ( party of 7) enjoyed everything about the property. Plenty of beds as advertised, very clean well latex home. (2) negatives water softener system was quite noisy and lacked water pressure. Also for some odd reason I found 2 bugs in my bedroom downstairs. They might want to check that out!

Summary: We liked that there was a lot of room for our dog to roam. The house itself is a little worn. The bedrooms are spacious but the living area for the number of people that could be accommodated was small. The management company was alternatively nice and unreachable.
