In 2018 the owners completed construction of this vacation home on a private road, directly on the Nubble and across the street from the ocean. Enjoy the (partial) ocean views and only a 5-minute walk to Long Sands beach. Short Sands beach and the Nubble Lighthouse are both a 10-minute walk. When you are not at the beach you can enjoy your time outside on the covered deck on the 3rd floor. This home is accessible to each floor via a custom-built elevator. Other accessible features include larger hallways/doorways and spacious bathrooms make it easy to get around for everyone. To maximize the ocean views, this is an upside down house featuring a 1,400 sq. ft. open concept 3rd floor with the kitchen and living room and a 17 x 17 covered deck with a large weber grill. The kitchen is equipped with high-end appliances, gas stove, granite counters, large island and walk in pantry and is stocked with all the essentials. The deck from the 3rd floor looks south to long sands beach and west to the beautiful York sunsets, making this a perfect spot to start or end your day. The 2nd floor has 3 bedrooms, one with a queen bed + full bed, the 2nd is a master suite with a queen bed and en suite bathroom and the 3rd bedroom has a queen bed. This floor has a large 10 x 22 common bath with a large soaking tub and large walk-in shower design to accessible and a wheelchair accessible toilet. The 1st floor (ground floor) has a bedroom with a king bed and en suite bathroom. The 25 x 25 garage provides ample space for a large van and for storing all your beach toys. Other great features include: Classic shingle style beach house, Fully stocked kitchen, Washer & Dryer, Hair dryers in each bathroom and make-up mirrors, 8 beach chairs, large cooler and beach umbrella

Summary: The house was nice and a nice location. Please consider reviewing towel washing process. Several “clean” towels were not clean. Thankfully they were able to be washed. Also please consider fixing small plastic strip on ground near entry patio. Several people tripped on this. Otherwise we had a nice time at this house. Location was good and house had all we needed for the week. Highly recommended.

Summary: This property was perfect, especially for my 88 year old mother. The elevator, handicapped bathroom/shower, and wide walking areas were ideal. The house was very clean and equipped with plenty of towels, kitchenware, etc...It is within walking distance to Nubble Lighthouse, ice cream, beaches and shopping, and had great views of the water across the street. Also, Ogunquit and Kennebunkport are very close, so plenty to do! I highly recommend this house!

Summary: We chose this house for its accessibility features so that our parents could join us and the house was indeed well-suited for everyone, especially with the elevator. The location was fantastic, close to both Long Sands and Short Sands beaches and Nubble Light House. The garage had tons of beach gear; the house was spacious; and the deck with the ocean views was perfect. The kitchen was well-equipped and the furniture was very comfortable. The front door keyless lock did not work but we were able to just use the garage door opener. Some of the outlets didn't work and it would have been helpful to have the instruction manual for the Nest thermostat. Overall it was a great house for our family and we would recommend it, especially for the accessibility features.
