Positive: The property is terrific. It’s a wonderfully built structure that is spacious, furnished very well, with everything that I needed, clean, in a quiet, safe location that is very convenient to the main square and restaurants, with a parking space and terrace, and it has a great view. Francesco and Lorenzo are fantastic hosts who were very helpful and accessible. I wish I could have stayed longer. I will definitely return here and stay for a much longer time to take advantage of the many hiking opportunities.

Negative: I loved everything about it!

Positive: The hosts are welcoming and provided great hiking suggestions. The view from the apartment is grand and it’s a quick walk into town for restaurants. The pictures reflect reality.

Negative: Although bed comfort can be a matter of personal preference, this one was not comfortable for us whatsoever. I personally would replace.

Positive: We loved this spacious and well equipped apartment. The view is fabulous out over the countryside, hills and mountains, great sunsets too. This is a very good location for hiking in the higher regions of the Pollino Mountains. You do need a car to get to those regions. We loved how well equipped the kitchen was. Great hot water in the shower. The host family was very nice and helpful. We loved their hiking suggestions. We wished we had more time!

Negative: The bed is large but a bit uncomfortable. Stull, we would definitely return!

Negative: We visited in Viggianello in the end of October, off-season, when all restaurants were closed. The apartment was cold.

Positive: Hosts were very helpful and accessible. Location is great, wonderful views of the valley from the living room and dining area, easy 300 meter walk to town center. Good parking, easy to reach coming into town, easy to get out of town. Very clean and well appointed; kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed.

Negative: Nothing was a showstopper, beds could have been a bit more comfortable, a fan would have been nice in the bedroom, but the rooms were well ventilated and didnt get too hot except for a couple hours at midday on a hot summer day. And the tapestry of Jesus Christ over the bed in the main bedroom might be offputting to some. Would happily stay here again.
