Positive: The butler Lamin is a very warm and hospitable person. During our stay, we were treated very well, and the whole environment was neat and comfortable. They also have an adorable guard dog. Next time we have the chance to visit Gambia, we will definitely come back here to stay again.

Positive: My home far away from home The property is beautiful and meticulously maintained in every detail. Modern, spotless, and very well kept, it offers great attention to guests, impeccable cleanliness, mosquito nets on every window, very comfortable beds and two bathrooms, one on the ground floor (where the kitchen and living room are located) and one upstairs in the sleeping area. The balcony is lovely, the laundry area is extremely convenient for drying clothes, and the charming outdoor patio features a table and a fully equipped kitchen, an excellent option if you wish to cook and enjoy your meals outdoors. I had the pool all to myself during my stay, and Abubakarr (A A) set up the entire pool area just for me. A special compliment to him for his kindness and his warm smile, which made me feel welcome from the very first moment. Lamin is fantastic and incredibly attentive to every need, he is not only professional and reliable, but also genuinely caring, always ready to help with discretion, kindness, and a positive attitude that truly makes a difference. You can clearly see that he takes pride in his work and sincerely cares about the guests’ comfort and well-being. From the very first morning, they take care of organizing all the spaces, washing, cleaning, and arranging everything so that everything is perfect for the guests. A special mention as well to Ziggy, the house dog, very well behaved, cheerful, and playful, who made this stay even more memorable. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful people. From the moment of booking, James provided me with all the assistance I needed, and later I also had the pleasure of speaking with Ramu, his wife, a very friendly and welcoming woman. I had a wonderful stay, and when I return, this will be my “home” because that’s exactly how it felt from the very beginning. I was not treated as customers but as guests in a friend’s home.

Positive: Clean fresh & lovely staff (Lamin & Binta) This is a place away from the hustle and bustle of Senegambia. I’ve eaten fresh fish daily, purchased freshly from the fishermen on the Tanji beach., If you want a relaxing holiday without the hype in a friendly area clean fresh modern accommodation this is the place for you.

Negative: No hot water apart from that I have fully enjoyed my stay

Positive: The staff especially Lamin, was just amazing. Served us Coffee at late arrival. Comfort us and gave us nicest Mango. A really good and professional person. The place is really nice.

Negative: The owner's. Unbelievable if I go in to details. That I can prove. For the Place and the staff we would return but to bear with this kind of human as the owner is not acceptable their lack of professional manners etiquette is more than doubtful. As said can go to deatails with all evidences.

Summary: Super nice place with really great Staff but rude, illmannerd unprofessional Owners.

Positive: The location was good with easy access to the main highway with Tanji fish market within walking distance.

Negative: The road taken to walk to the main highway is very sandy and uneven. If you have good walking shoes be prepared for them to get very dusty. If you have somewhere nice to go in the evening and you don't want to get your shoes dirty, consider taking a short taxi ride to the main road

Positive: The little house is perfect for staying at Tanji. It was clean and comfortable. Lamin and Alasan made us feel very welcome and took good care of us. The outside sitting-area is very nice; as well as the inside of the house. Many small shops and possibilities to grab something small to eat nearby. The walk to the fish market is not far and also the beach can be reached well on foot.

Negative: Curtains would have been nice, at times it felt like living in a goldfish bowl. But they told us that curtains will come soon. It would also be good to give guests a key to the security gate so that one can enter anytime on one's own.

Summary: Very nice place to stay in Tanji - I recommend it!
