Positive: Mount Pleasant is a well kept and organised place, with a wonderful big garden. The spacious apartment has all facilities you'll need, including a fully equiped kitchen. Exceptionally good is the Wifi, it even has a power back up system, so whatever happens, the wifi stays working. They'll have two (European) mountainbikes for rent. As Mount Pleasant is situated in a friendly and safe local neighbourhood, I used the bike a lot to discover the area, the beautiful beaches nearby and other neighboarhoods. During my 9 day stay, I felt more part of the local community than being a tourist. And last but not least, the host is a worldwise all African woman, with a London twist She's very helpfull, a great conversation and a good laugh too. With her strong local network she'll help you getting around and feel at home. I'll definitely will come back here again. It won't get any better elsewhere, my advice; book for multiple nights to enjoy everything the accommodation and local area has to offer.

Positive: We received a warm welcome and immediately felt at home. The apartment is spacious and clean, and it was thoroughly cleaned every week. The location is also fantastic! In a quiet local neighborhood, with a convenience store right outside, a mini-market at the end of the street, and within walking distance of the beach. Hadiza and her daughter are there when you need them and will do anything to help, even pushing the car when the battery was flat 🙏

Positive: The apartment was clean and spacious with great facilities and a beautifully maintained and peaceful garden. There is a small shop next door and the beach is only a 10 minute walk. I only spent two nights but would have loved to spend longer as it's in an ideal spot to relax and explore West Gambia at will. Hadiza and her daughter were brilliant hosts, very welcoming and helpful.

Positive: I had a wonderful time there. It's a superb green oasis for relaxation. The apartment has everything you need for a vacation. (You should bring a hairdryer, toilet paper, and soap.) The lovely and helpful owner has become like a friend to me. Many greetings to Hadiza and Cleo.❤️❤️❤️

Positive: Hazida provided a service to collect and depart from the airport - made arrival so much easier! Mount Pleasant is a lovely contained and secure environment - with lots of green and coloured plants and a very friendly atmosphere so you can feel very safe. The walk to the local shop or taxis is easy and the people are very friendly and safe and you pass the local primary schools which is nice to hear them learning and reciting work. Also not mentioned a lot of local knowledge and guidance for tours and trips, a laundry service (I arrived home with immaculate clothes - and shoes!) and Faith can do hair braiding ! The property and the welcome was exceptional so would highly recommend as for me the value for money was very very good.
