Summary: We enjoyed our stay at Crown Paradise Golden. Although the place is a bit outdated, there are still a lot of things this hotel has to offer. The buffet lunch and dinner were great, a lot of options to choose from (you can also try going to the Club side for additional options). Omar and Andrew were always helpful at the buffet area. I would also commend Perla (host at the Buffet) for always greeting us with a smile. We also booked dinner at Salvador's and Paradise. We enjoyed the food and service at Salvador's more. The head waiter, Carmelo, was certainly a joy to talk to. They have a lobby bar for drinks, bartenders are always happy to serve especially Isaid Abad. He introduced "Mexican Water" to us, Thank you so much! Celia always made sure our room is clean and would always check if we needed something more. Gracias, Celia! The beach at the hotel is nice. Smooth sandy beach. They also have nightly activities at Club Nitro. Very entertaining. Overall we enjoyed our stay here, hoping they will start remodeling their rooms.

Summary: Overall I enjoyed my stay very much. The room was comfortable. The location was great. I really enjoyed the shows at Club Nitro. They were well done and they were very entertaining. The cast was super friendly. The beach area was very nice. The pool area was nice as well. Karaoke after the show was fun. As I was the only English speaking singer Johnny was very good to keep me informed on what was being said. The ladies in the show were beautiful. The few negative things about the place was 1. No o shower curtain so the bathroom floor got wet every time you took a shower. The resort was not super packed but I still had trouble getting a reservation for restaurants. The buffet was fine but the best meal I had came from the snack bar by the pool. The burgers were very good and the chicken tacos were amazing.

Summary: One person checking in. They take forever with each person. Air in the room is very low. Room does not get cold. Can't imagine in the summer how hot the rooms are. Food was good. All the workers were great except for front desk workers they see you and ignore you. Would not stay here again.

Summary: This resort is very dated and has not been well maintained. The bed was clean and that is the only reason we did not leave. The compound is not secure. Anyone can enter. Smokers gather around the front entrance. You walk across the street to watch the nightly show. The nightly show has not been updated in many years. They do not put in any effort to make this a valuable way to send time in the evening. They still have a Michael Jackson show, do they have any idea how many people think about MJ? The food is bland and there are no options for a person with food restrictions. The restaurants did not even offer a vegetarian option, let alone other dietary restrictions. My husband was happy that the beer was always cold. But we did not enjoy the blended drinks let we usually partake in. Back to security, the door to our room had been broken into at some point in the past. The door was rebuilt with glue and a deadbolt was added. The door remained very loose. this was in addition to the patio doors, of which there was only 1 screw holding the lock in place. I will let you imagine what the bathroom that had not been updated in 20 years looked like. Not just the lack of update, but not repair, if things were broke they were just left or removed, leaving a gap. The patio chairs at both the pool and beach were in bad repair and were place together so closely that you could not have any personal space. I have never been so disappointed in an investment.
