Summary: Lovely quiet location on the edge of Cartmel with good road connections to the tourist areas of the Lakes. The place was spotless and well equipped but they really do only include bedding, towels and loo roll. Whatever else you need make sure you take it with you. It lacked hanging space for clothes in the bedroom and any place to put your cases. We were surprised it was a semi detached building, we could hear a lot of noise, especially doors closing in the attached unit. I would still recommend it though, really enjoyed our stay

Summary: Lodge great all mod cons Small hot tub fine for 2 Tv is a waste of time if you need to watch regular channels Not a problem for us but worth mentioning 10 min walk to Cartmel Great base for races
