Attractive double glazed cottage with lattice windows and decorative climbing plants is set in a mature colourful garden, incorporating the older part of the now extended main house.
The front door leads into a hallway with coats area and under stairs cupboard. To the right of the hallway is a compact, well equipped fitted kitchen and at the end is a door leading to a spacious dining room with an additional sofa and a step leading down to a cosy sitting room with a comfortable lounge suite and an attractive open fireplace.
At the far end of the dining room a door opens into an additional coats area with a further door opening onto a sunken patio with a pond containing goldfish. There is also an external shared utility room.
From the entrance hall stairs lead up to a half landing with two bedrooms each with a hand basin; one with a double and one twin bedded room. The stairs then continue to the first floor where there is a bathroom W.C. with vanity basin and shower over the bath and a large king-size double bedroom, with en-suite W.C. and hand basin, overlooking the patio and extensive gardens.
Outside there is a bbq for the exclusive use of this property. There is parking available for one car with further spaces on request.

Summary: The garden has vehicles and rubbish bags over the edges of the grass areas. Why are there vehicles in the garden? The house needs a complete refurb the bathroom is very old with mould over the edges of the shower screen, the shower has poor pressure. The stick on tiles in the bathroom are peeling off with no fan in the bathroom The WiFi is useless and drops out continuously , there is a fridge freezer in the dining room as the kitchen is much too small for 6 people. The oven is in a terrible state and hasn’t been cleaned properly and the pans are very poor and need replacing The oven is against a wall and can’t be used properly. And we were asked to move our car forward two feet as the other renters couldn’t park … there were no other people at the house? Strange attitude and a strange property but it could be improved with clearing the rubbish from the garden. The access is dangerous as the hedges need cutting back to allow a better view of the road..

Summary: I can't fault a single thing! Croft cottage is a real home from home and a gem of a find. Cosy, comfortable, and absolutely perfect. Check-in was seemless, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Even our little dog felt instantly at home. When we visit our friends in Cornwall again, we will 100% book to stay at Croft Farm Cottages. Thank you so much.

Summary: We had a lovely stay at Croft Cottage. We were met with a really nice welcome package upon arrival and the hosts were very nice and helpful. Pet accessories such as beds, food and water bowls, as well as pet door rugs were an added bonus and made our dog feel extra welcome 🤗. There were ample grounds to walk the dog on the property, including an enclosed paddock. Overall we had a lovely stay.
