Nestled in the woods just off the main road, this cabin is set back from the road, and directly on the creek. It is a full 2 bedroom 2 bath cabin. There is a romantic corner 2 person whirlpool bath in the master bedroom (which has a King bed). There are sliding glass doors in the master bedroom that give a full view of the creek. Prop open the curtains and feel paradise! The second bedroom has 2 queen beds. There is a cozy, comfortable couch in the living room if you were going to squeeze in that 7th person. The interior is warm and comfortable, with mini-split air units in living room/kitchen and each of the bedrooms. There is a large living space and a wood burning fire place. There are TVs in the living room and the master bedroom, and high speed WiFi service throughout.
The covered front porch is a great place to sip morning coffee as you rock on one of four rocking chairs. The living room sliding glass doors open onto the large back porch and the steps which take you directly to the creek bank and fire pit (only 12 feet from steps to creek). This cabin is secluded, and backs up to the creek, so you can hear and feel the comfort of nature all around you. (Our cabin is the most secluded and the closest to the creek of any in the Twinbrook area.) There are no difficult mountain roads to navigate, and there is room for 2 vehicles at the front of the cabin, with a bit of additional space for a motorcycle or small trailer.
There are games, puzzles, and books for you to enjoy, and the cabin is fully stocked to meet your needs. The kitchen is fully functional, with a six seat dining room table, and there is a small charcoal grill outside, so you can fix a home-cooked meal, or head out to one of the many Maggie Valley/Waynesville restaurants. There is a stack washer/dryer if needed. Booking this cabin allows you to use the amenities at Twinbrook. There is an indoor heated pool and a hot tub (open year round from 9 am to 9 pm), along with a children's playground and a soccer area. Sit on the large outside deck by the pool and relax to the beautiful mountain view. (The cabin is stocked with 4 pool /hot tub towels.)
This quaint, cozy cabin is located in the Twinbrook area, just a stone's throw from Hwy 19 in Maggie Valley. There is so much to do here any time of the year! As the gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains, come and see what Maggie Valley, Waynesville, and the surrounding area has to offer. There are hiking trails, The Blue Ridge Parkway, beautiful waterfalls, mountain viewing, snow skiiing and tubing, and many events throughout the year at the Maggie Valley Fairgrounds.
Gorgeous Lake Junaluska is nearby, with its beautiful views and walking trails. Beautiful downtown Waynesville, nestled in the valley with it's delightful shops, restaurants and breweries, is just 10 minutes away. You can also jump on Hwy 19 and head for Cherokee, Gatlinburg, Asheville, Murphy, Bryson City, Pigeon Forge, Dollywood; there's adventure in every direction!

Summary: We've stayed at many different places in Maggie Valley over the years but this is definitely our new favorite! The Creekside Serenity cabin sits right next to a meandering creek with a fire pit. The cabin is cozy and warm and we immediately felt at home when we walked in the door. We were also greeted with a basket of fixings to make S'mores! Which we did every night! Nice touch.The pictures in the listing are very accurate with the only addition being a new kitchen island which provides a great work surface and extra storage. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need to prepare meals and snacks. The ice maker worked great and there were additional ice trays if needed. We had lunch and snacks on the back deck overlooking the creek, which was sooooo relaxing and serene. Now we understand where the name "Creekside Serenity" came from. And our grandson had so much fun exploring the creek and collecting a few stone treasures. We brought our own fire logs because we knew it was going to rain and didn't want to deal with wet wood. We used the indoor fireplace on some nights and enjoyed that as well. All the furniture was in great shape and very comfortable. Everyone thought the beds were very comfortable as well. In the main bedroom you can drift off to sleep with the soothing sound of the creek to lull you - which is what we did! We used the heated pool only once. It's just a 4-5 minute walk and very clean.We loved this cabin and will definitely be back!!

Summary: We came up for the bike rally for the weekend, and the weather wasn’t as wonderful as we would have liked to be so that meant more time in the cabin and when I tell you, we were more than satisfied, it was truly a sweet getaway spot the sound of the creek in the back is my favorite Loved all the amenities, even though we didn’t have a fire and I didn’t get to eat and enjoy the s’mores the fact that you have them set up and ready for us is adorable. Definitely will be telling others about it and definitely will be back.

Summary: It was SO relaxing and romantic. Jacuzzi tub in the master with a beautiful view of the creek. Cozy in the main room with a crackling fire We were greeted with a box of Valentines Day candy from the host. So sweet!

Summary: We loved our stay! The cabin was perfect for our family getaway and was well stocked. The little creek, and the fire pit made for a picture perfect setting that we thoroughly enjoyed. Nothing though tops the kindness that was extended to us by the owner. We had other family staying in the area who ran into an unfortunate situation due to recent winter weather. The owner went ABOVE and BEYOND to help them find accommodations for their stay. Again they weren’t even directly apart of our party staying at this cabin. Nancy, we thank you for all that was done! If you are looking for a great cabin, owned by a great person, this is the one!
