Summary: Lovely, comfortable home with expansive deck overlooking the Upper Pond Creek and the trail of the same name was a perfect spot for me along with a family of five. Short hikes up and down the trail were fun. The separate loft with extra beds was a perfect spot for the adolescents to hang out in stormy weather. Well equipped for eating in or a cookout on the deck. It will definitely be my 1st choice for a Beech Mountain rental for a group again!

Summary: Spacious, clean, well appointed. Had an issue and the owner fixed it right away. only suggestion was to include a road map to the rental. Beech mountain still great even after 30 years. Thanks Carrianne

Summary: We didn't plan to visit Beech Mountain we were just looking to hike around Grandfather Mountain, but I'm really happy that we found this house. The location was excellent and our family was very comfortable in the house. Would definitely stay here again.

Summary: This property is amazing. The owners were very responsive and even left us a welcome basket with wine for my wife’s birthday! The deck and backyard are great, with the stream and trail running right through the backyard. Everything inside was super clean, and the kitchen had everything you could want to cook. Good location to get to all the local attractions. Saw deer everyday either in the backyard or on the road leading down the mountain. We’ve stayed in multiple AIRB&B and VRBO’s and this is by far the best experience we’ve had!

Summary: We had a wonderful time at this place. A very nice relaxing place to get away from it all. There is stream that runs right through the backyard. You can sit on the deck and listen to world go by. There is also a nice hiking trail that will take you up to the Over Look for some great views and pictures. It is a little of challenge but the trail is well marked and the views are worth it.

Summary: Excellent location right on hiking trail. House equipped with everything you could possibly need. Property owners great to work with! Nothing beats sleeping in a very comfortable bed with windows open and creek sounds to sleep by( in the hot summer months)

Summary: This was a great stay that we had over the 4th of July weekend at the Creekside Cub House on Beech! Sorry in advance for the long review, but there are just so many positive things to say about this property! The house had plenty of room for my family to spread out. With its three bedrooms and three baths, we were very comfortable. We did not need to use the loft, but it was a nice size for even a larger group or family. The living area was comfortable and the decorations were perfect throughout the house. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything that we needed. We like to prepare our own meals and we had plenty of room to spread out. The large island was instrumental in pulling together our large dinners! We spent every night in the back yard fire pit area. It was wonderful to relax by the fire and listen to the stream that runs through the property. The extra convenience of being able have access to one of the Beech Mountain hiking trails on the property was yet another big plus for us! The owner was extremely helpful and efficient throughout the entire process. Everything went very smoothly with accessing the property. She sent helpful tips regarding checking in, checking out, and making sure that our stay was as convenient and as safe as possible. She shared some of her favorite hiking trails with us as well! We would have normally hiked more, but we were enjoying the property so much that we preferred to spend more time at the house! In summary, the fresh clean air of Beech Mountain, S'mores by the fire pit, wildlife, and owners that are truly great hosts made this a great experience for us. We will be returning to this house again, hopefully for a longer stay!
