Positive: The location is second to none. Such beautiful panoramic views from the lounge window. I would love to be able to see this view every single day. The hosts are both very friendly and helpful. The chalet is very well appointed with every you could possibly want from a self-catering property. The hosts are always on hand should there be a problem.

Negative: Nothing to say.

Summary: Absolutely brilliant. Very sad to have to leave at the end of the week.

Positive: There was nothing we disliked. The cabin is spacious, very well equipped and the bed, omg massive and so comfortable. Evelyn greeted us when we arrived which was lovely. The views from the cabin are incredible, especially on a night when the sun is setting. There was an essentials basket for us with bread, crisps, biscuits etc which was a nice touch. We’ve booked again for September that’s how much we loved our stay.

Positive: The chalet is situated in a perfect location - not far from the facilities of Portree but still giving you a sense of being in the landscape of Skye. With some beautiful sunsets and -rises. The chalet itself is well appointed with lovely furnishings and washing machine and dryer. It’s comfortable, cosy and feels like home. The beds are super comfy and the reclining chair/couch was great! The hosts Evelyn and Duncan are friendly, attentive and do all they can to ensure a comfortable stay. The welcome pack was so generous! We already booked our stay for next year only this time a week instead of a few days :)

We will definitely be going back to Craigard Chalet and will recommend it to our friends.

Positive: What to even say about this place? Stayed here for 4 days before Christmas and it was magic. The owners left us a welcome hamper full of Christmas goodies and have really worked to make this place a home away from home. Beautiful views and very quiet - only 15mins from Portree. We spent a lot of time out in the wilderness and it was so nice coming back to this place each evening. Super soft bed, great bathroom facilities and the laundry came in clutch! Would love to come back and stay in the summer months.
