Positive: We loved the peaceful mountain feel of the property, and enjoyed the fireplace at night helping us feel cosy. The bathroom renovation was very nice. It was very convenient for our visits to cradle mountain.

Negative: The kitchen could do with a renovation.

Positive: Wonderful views of the bush, Spacious all round. Very comfortable. Amazing bathroom and great free laundry facilities. You do need your own washing liquid though.

Positive: We had two adjoining chalets, one with queen bed for the grandparents and the other had two bedrooms for the younger family. Queen and three single beds. The larger one had a fireplace which we enjoyed and a large bathroom and it was great that the toilet was separate. Kitchen was large and well equipped. The chairs were really comfortable. Loved the fabulous rhododendron near the front of Cradle chalet and the large open garden where we saw a pademelon and lots of scat to indicate there were more around. Coffee and wine was available at the nearby cafe!

Negative: Nothing.

Positive: What a fantastic property. The bathroom was heaven, very spacious, the bath was amazing deep with plenty of hot water and a separate tap outside of the bath. Perfect to relax weary muscles after hiking in the mountains. It was great to have a separate shower. The open fire was fantastic particularly since the wood and kindling were all available and done for you. The electric blankets on all the beds were really appreciated. The toiletries were fab and the location was amazing. Perfect views and although cabins around you it is perfectly done so you feel you are the only ones there. Having a coffee on the balcony listening to birdsong was an exceptional experience. A perfect place to be at one with nature and relax. We were devastated we only had one night. Within close reach of cradle mountain and the devils@cradle attraction which we went to for the night time feeding tour which we also recommend. The hosts were very accommodating allowing us to check in early and it was lovely when travelling with a group to have a separate toilet from the bathroom.

Negative: Nothing it was fantastic.

Positive: Private cabin, no contact check-in. Full kitchen, bathroom, loungeroom, and free shared laundry. Beautiful surroundings and only 20minutes from craddle mountain.

Negative: The bed was a bit hard but otherwise an amazing stay.

Positive: Everything, the bedroom is big and comfortable, every wall has a window, it’s so much easier to view the little animals without scaring them, in the morning, we saw the sunlight through fog in the forest. Kitchen has everything we needed.
