If you've been looking for a comfortable and affordable beach getaway, look no further!! Sea View Cottage has everything to make a small family or group feel right at home.
This second row, 2 bedroom, one full bath cottage is a rare ranch-style, with everything you need on one floor & beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean throughout.
Sea View Cottage is on beautiful Topsail Island, NC, an exceptionally family friendly island with privately owned rental homes, unique stores and one-of-a-kind restaurants. Topsail Island is also conveniently midway between Wilmington and Jacksonville, NC.
The quiet, residential, ocean side neighborhood where Sea View Cottage sits is located in the historic one-mile stretch of the island once known as Ocean City Beach. Once a year, in July, this area is proud to be home to the Ocean City Jazz Fest. But, most of the time this part of the island is particularly quiet and restful, with no public parking and nearby beach access only available to renters and owners.
Sea View Cottage includes an open kitchen/living/dining area with plenty of windows to enjoy ocean views, 2 bedrooms and one full bath.
The cozy, fully-stocked kitchen has a glass-top range, cooking utensils, pots and pans, serving and dining utensils and a bar with stools. The dining room table seats 6.
The living room offers a comfortable couch and loveseat, with ottomans and a large round coffee table for games, pizza night or sorting through treasures found on the beach. It's the perfect space to curl up together and watch a good movie or read and relax. The TV has cable and streaming capabilities, so bring your login info for your favorite streaming apps.
Our bedrooms are generous and intentionally outfitted for maximum comfort. We want to give our guests a restful and relaxing space to retire to at the end of a day of sun and fun! One bedroom offers a queen bed, ceiling fan, TV with Roku streaming capability, closet and drawer space. The other bedroom boasts a twin over full bunk bed plus another twin bed, ceiling fan, tv with Roku streaming capability, closet and drawer space.
The bathroom has a tub/shower combination with plenty of towel bars, hooks and shelves for our guests to use.
Bonus: There is a sweet little sunroom space in the front of the house, off the living/dining room. It's open to the rest of the main area, but offers more seating for morning coffee, puzzles or just enjoying the sunshine.
The Cottage sits on 12' piers and there is a patio area underneath which offers shaded outdoor seating for those hot summer days. Guests will also find a utility room with a full size washer and dryer, as well as beach toys, boogie boards, etc.
A delightful outdoor shower can be found just to the side of the patio. With full privacy and views of the bright sky during the day and stars at night, we predict you'll never want to shower inside again!!

The safety of all of our guests is very important to us! So we take tropical storms and Hurricanes very seriously. Hurricane season runs from the beginning of June until the end of November, with the most activity happening between mid August and mid October. We monitor any storm that looks like it may impact the island and will communicate with guests who are in the cottage as well as guests who may be incoming. In the case of an evacuation or cancellation due to tropical storm or hurricane activity, guests will receive a full refund for unused time.

Summary: This cottage is located in a very quiet residential neighborhood close to the beach. Nice view of the ocean! Shopping and restaurants are within a short driving distance. Beach access was close to the house.

Summary: We had a GREAT week at the cottage and can’t wait until April 2024. We will be there for two weeks. I feel bad having to give every area a 5 star. That is way to low. The property manager Betsy is phenomenal. She went that extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. The kitchen is well stocked. Living room/den has plenty of seating. The queen bed is comfortable. The sun room is one of our favorite rooms. The area under the cottage has a table and chairs to sit and eat. It was great listening to the waves and eating fresh seafood. And then we get to the outside shower!!!! It will make you want to never take a shower inside again. I know this is a lot of reading but it is truly hard to explain how much we enjoyed ourselves. We have stayed at quite a bit of rentals and this one by far is the best. I have to say it again. Thanks for offering this cottage as a rental and thank you Betsy for everything. We will definitely be back again. 3 weeks every year.

Summary: We truly enjoyed our stay. The cottage has the best location we could imagine, very quiet street, close to the beach, and only a few miles from great restaurants and shops. The beach was very clean, some days it felt like our own private beach because there were so few people on it. The cottage had everything we needed for a week long stay, we liked being able to see and hear the ocean from the deck. Check-in was seamless, Betsy did a great job communicating with us. It was the most chill, relaxing vacation we’ve had in a long time. We hope to come back!

Summary: The property manager Betsy was so kind and willing to work with us on a late check in. The neighborhood was amazing with great neighbors. The house was the exact amount of room needed for a quick getaway for myself, husband and our 2 boys. The stroll to the beach access is quick and painless. We would love to stay here again anytime! My husband even left his car keys and Betsy was fast to let us know and shipped them overnight to us, so understanding and considerate!

Summary: We stayed at Arthur's property this past week (8/6-8/11). The home was spotless upon arrival. Pre-arrival directions and communications with property manager, Betsy, were timely and perfectly detailed. The space was just right for my small family, with comfy beds, ease of access to house wifi, smart TV, and the kitchen had all the pots, pans, dishes, etc that you will need (although we didn't do much cooking, it is vacation, after all!). The public beach access was a short walk away. The deck and sunroom provided beautiful and peaceful ocean views. We would definitely love to stay here again next year. A lovely vacation and rental experience all around!

Summary: Wonderful home that is very convenient to the beach, the access is just a few houses down. Location is close to lots of restaurants and shops but the street itself is nice and quiet. The beach was wonderful - late July trip for us and it was not overcrowded at all. Plenty of space which was just what we were looking for! Home is well stocked and Betsy was very available for anything we needed - even sent tips on some sea turtle happenings and reminders on garbage night. We walked on the beach in the moonlight and saw lots of crabs, enjoyed days splashing in the waves and just had an amazing, relaxing trip! Would stay here again if we were headed back to North Topsail. Note: if you have mobility concerns there are stairs up to the house and for the bridge over the dunes to get to the beach. You definitely need to be comfortable with stairs in the heat for this trip!

Summary: Our family had the most amazing experience at the cottage. Because it was conveniently located near the access to the private beach for residents, we spent hours and hours lounging in the sand and enjoying the sun and waves literally a two minute walk from the stairs of the cottage. My mom, who is handicapped and has some difficulty with ambulation, especially enjoyed sitting on the porch with lovely views of the ocean. The neighborhood is quiet and residents pleasant. Beautifully appointed, the cottage had everything we needed to keep a family, including a 7 and 14-year old and a dog -- happy and entertained for the week. Access to laundry and beach supplies like boogie boards were an extra treat; however, by far, the favorite amenity of every family member was the outdoor shower -- which had hot and cold water. Everyone preferred showering outside, even though the indoor bathroom was perfectly fine. Betsy, the property manager was a delight -- sending helpful reminders about trash and recycling as well as responding promptly to any needs we had. We will definitely book and stay here again in the future.

Summary: Love this wonderful spot on North Topsail. Quiet area away from the tourist trap but only a short drive into the city. This is our second stay here and it was even better than the first. Love all the little updates and added touches. Can’t think of anything that was lacking. It truly is a home away from home!!
