Summary: We had a nice, relaxing weekend stay at the Misty Haven. Everything worked as described. The back porch with the river view was fantastic. The cabin is next to a campground that I think was closed for the season. It was nice and quiet.

Summary: My husband and I and our 15 yr old son stayed 3 nights. This trip was intended as a fishing trip and unfortunately didn't get one bite. Pretty sure it was just the time of year because locals weren't catching anything either. We did kayak In the river up to the dam. It was pretty and the weather was good for us. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. My only complaint would be the furniture (couches, rugs, pillows) could use an upgrade. Overall it was nice. Would visit again in spring or summer.
