Summary: We have stayed in many cottages in Nova Scotia. Everyone of them without exception boasted about providing everything a visitor could want while away from home. This is the only cottage that actually provided everything we could need even including a lobster pot. The cottage was very clean and well maintained. Connie and Joe were very welcoming and even left us a lovely welcoming basket (no one has ever done that). We would not hesitate to recommend this property.

Summary: The property was very clean, neat and tidy. It was well laid out. Lots of chairs to sit in outside and a nice picnic table. My daughter enjoyed the hammock outside. Really loved the two firepits it gave you options. Like one night we used the firepit down next to the water and the other night we used the one out back of the house. I liked it that we did not have to bring lifejackets with us and the wood and lighter fluid was previded. We also had three kayaks to choose from. There was coffee and water provided for us. When it was a rain day we had all kinds of channels to choose from on the T.V..There was a nice big clothes line out back were we could hang our wet clothes and towels. Can not wait to go back there again next year.

Summary: We stayed at this cottage for a week. We really appreciated the cleanliness of the cottage. The decor and the neutral colours are very pleasing. We also liked how accessible it is to Halifax and Dartmouth. The Eastern shore where the cottage is located is absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed spending our evenings at the fire pit by the water where we watched the sunset and a sky full of stars. My husband also caught several mackerel which we enjoyed eating. Connie and Joe, we really hope a deck at the back of the house overlooking the big yard and the bay are in your plans ;) We recommend this cottage and we would stay here again. Thanks for your hard work in making our stay enjoyable! Ken & Janet

Summary: Your property is breathtaking. It kept our family of four very comfortable. My adult, children and husband loved the sea kayaks. My son also went fishing off the rocks and caught quite a few good size mackerel. My daughter had a full size crab walk over her foot while resting them on a rock in the water. We also had a few fun games, bocce ball, and ring toss. Every morning I would take my cup of tea and sit at the lower fire pit and just look out at the gorgeous bay. We also noticed that there is a family of deer in the vacant woods beside the cottage. They would come out quite regularly and graze on the grass in the front. Thank you for opening your cottage. It has created many years of wonderful memories.

Summary: It was amazing, everything we needed was provided, the place was wonderful highly recommend it. The property was beautiful and relaxing, fire pit, seating and view. We enjoyed our stay. Great surrounding community and picturesque.

Summary: This is a beautifully decorated little ‘cottage’ away from all of the busyness of the big city. It has all the amenities anyone would need. The owners live in the same town and make sure they are available in case of any emergencies (power outage). You can sit down by the water and watch the tides. You can pop into town to get supplies or dinner if you want. Fresh lobster is available just down the road. I would have no hesitation going back. It’s also pet friendly 🐶

Summary: This is one of the best cottages we have stayed in years. The location is great, especially if you are looking for quite time away from the city crowds. The cottage is very spacious and comfortable, it is more of a house then the cottage. It was just two of us staying this time, but there's room for a family of 4-5. We liked the way everything is organized and decorated, everything is carefully thought through to the small details. The hosts are very responsive and informative, and are ready to come for help if needed. It was a great time for us, and we would no doubt visit again.
