The name, "Point of View," says it all.
Nestled on a quiet beach with the most spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean, is this tropical home away from home.
Enjoy tranquility with the exception of the waves crashing against the shore away from the usual sounds of the city. This piece of paradise is ideally located for the guest looking for pure comfort and relaxation at Exuma Point, located on the northern end of Great Exuma Island.
One of the main features of this 700 square feet island-style cottage, is its spacious wooden deck overlooking the turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean. The wooden, winding steps, amidst the trees and natural fauna of the property, lead from the deck to a quiet, secluded beach. Imagine sunbathing, moon gazing, reading a book or relaxing with your favorite tropical drink in one of the comfortable patio lounge chairs. You may even want to prepare your meal for the day on the gas grill from this point of view.
If dining in is your preference, a fully equipped kitchen with major appliances awaits you. Make yourself at home with a standard size Whirlpool cooking range, refrigerator and microwave oven; toaster oven, beverage blender and coffee maker; and a full complement of cookware, bakeware, dinnerware, drinking glasses and flatware. A stackable washer and dryer stored in its own room also complements the amenities of this modern cottage.
Meals can be served at the four-seat, glass dinette table at the center of the open floor living space.
If you need to unwind before turning in at the end of the day or simply just want to relax and watch a favorite television program, do so in the comfort of a sofa which also opens to a bed for an extra guest or a loveseat, and smart television. Summary: This is a beautiful property! It’s in a very secluded area that allows complete privacy! It’s about a 40 min drive into town but it’s not a bad drive at all since they repaved all the roads over the last few years. We loved our stay and will be back!

Summary: Sophia communicated well and provided recommendations ahead of time, inside the home, and verbally when we saw her during our stay. She was quick to resolve very minor issues (we are very understanding when something unexpected happens, it’s all about how it’s managed). If you’re looking to be close to stores and restaurants, this isn’t your place to stay. If you’re willing to plan ahead and do most of your meals at the house or eat early and get back during daylight when it’s easier to see the roads, this won’t bother you. It’s 100% worth it to sit on the beach in front of the house with nobody in sight. We loved the beach just around the corner from the house (a few people but definitely not crowded) and a slightly busier beach a short drive away. We preferred this end of the island to the busier side. Would 100% stay here again.

Summary: This was the perfect size cottage for me and my husband and the deck was big! The views and sounds of the ocean were so peaceful and breathtaking. The location was nice and remote, you will definitely want to rent a car, but driving to the stores and restaurants never felt like an inconvenience
