Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location was conveniently located to grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations and a Starbucks. We liked the off-street parking as well as the beautiful adjacent yard.

Negative: Our concerns were very minor. The space was very cold without a space heater.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the host, Ramona, was very responsive and accomodating.

Positive: Ramona was informed that I would be arriving late, so she gave me clear instructions of where to park (she texted me several pictures), entry through the gate, and where the keys were placed. I greatly appreciated her sharing this information. I’ll create a list to follow of the things I loved: - Bed: The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept on while lodging. I fell asleep within 5 minutes! The bed was one of my favorite items in the studio. The pillows were just right. There are 4 pillows to choose from if you’re a solo traveler like I was. - Kitchen: I prepared breakfast one morning and it’s equipped with 3 skillets in different sizes, cooking utensils, basic utensils and more! Other kitchen items include a tea kettle, coffee maker, a pot, etc., refrigerator/freezer - Bathroom: The standup shower was excellent! Plenty of space to include your soap, body wash, facial wash, shampoo and conditioner. The lighting is just right. It was very clean! - Laminate Wood Flooring: It adds a modern look to the studio. A nice touch! - Quiet Area: Unlike hotel rooms, I didn’t have to worry about a noisy neighbor on either side and below me. It is peacefully quiet in the area. You’re guaranteed a good nights’ rest. Since it’s a studio, this is ideal for a solo traveler or a couple. I loved this studio so much, that I hope it’s vacant when I return to visit my favorite city, Solvang. This studio is centrally located to Solvang, SLO, Santa Maria and not too far of a commute to Hearst Castle.

Negative: This was very minor, but I don’t use a loofah sponge, but a face towel. There were no face towels. I could’ve asked Ramona for one, but I didn’t. I purchased a cheap face towel from Walmart, which is a good quarter mile from the studio.
