Dock details: The dock is 20 feet in length. The cottage is right on the shores of Moosehead Lake with a flat grassy lawn and a smooth rocky shoreline with a pebble bottom - great for swimming! There is also a large breakwater of rocks about 50 feet offshore which keeps the swimming area in front of the cottage calmer than the rest of the lake.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Summary: My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. We had a fire and sat and watched the sunset on the lake while enjoying 4 ducks visiting us. It’s a great location about 8 minutes from town. The kitchen appliances were new along with the couch and reclining chair. Our only complaint was the mattresses were all uncomfortable to get a good nights sleep. Hopefully they are next on the list to update. If they get new mattresses we will definitely be back.
