Our home is perfect for traveling professionals and families as it is clean, cozy and safe. The house was decorated and furnished by a professional designer. It has 3 bedrooms (one of which is setup to be used as a private office) and one full bath. The master bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has a full-size bed. There is also a full kitchen, washer, dryer, and an enclosed porch which makes for a great place to sit and enjoy the outdoors without the bugs. Inside enjoy central air conditioning for the summer months.
It conveniently located minutes from downtown Fort Wayne, where you will find attractions such as Parkview Field (home to the Fort Wayne Tin Caps), Promenade Park, Headwaters Park, Coliseum, Purdue University Fort Wayne, the Embassy Theater, Grand Wayne Center, Botanical Gardens, and numerous breweries, bars and restaurants. The Rivergreenway is within walking distance and is a great place to ride bicycles, explore nature and local establishments. Other attractions within a few miles include the World Baseball Academy, SportOne Fieldhouse and Icehouse, Purdue University Fort Wayne, Ivy Tech University, University of St. Francis, Fort Wayne Zoo, Botanical Conservatory and Lakeside Park.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay here as a family of five (two adults and three children). There was plenty of room for us all due to comfy couches and an air mattress. A really nice touch was that it was decorated for Christmas!

Summary: Initially the communication w the owners was okay; however, it took a vast turn quickly. To start, I reached out to them as I’m from Fort Wayne and needed to unexpectedly travel to Fort Wayne as my father is gravely ill. I shared with them information about my dad’s health and that I am post partum with a newborn and two toddlers needing a house to stay in last minute. My husband was not traveling with us. I chose this house because it is near my brother’s home should I need help with my kids. The first night we arrived, my brother walked over with his dog to check on us and see if I needed any help. His dog entered the house on a leash for approximately 5 minutes. I wasn’t fully aware of the no dog policy because I wasn’t looking to bring one. At 11pm that same night (after falling asleep and getting all three of my kids to sleep) I received a call from the owner who was nothing short of rude and scolded me for having a dog enter the home. I again explained my situation and apologized only for him to state “now we can’t market the home as allergy free, we expect you to respect our rules.” I’m fairly certain more dog hair would get on the furniture from my clothes/bags without a dog ever entering. To start, have some grace with people especially those who meet you with kindness (and those that offer to rectify situations as I offered to pay for more cleaning) and second do not under any circumstance call anyone that late at night (it’s alarming and there was not imminent danger). Also, he can track how long the dog was in the house because there is a camera at front door and INSIDE back porch area (where dog exited). This is unfortunate because the house is somewhat nice (except for no large tv and squeaky floors) but after being met with such a lack of empathy and understanding from the owners, I wouldn’t stay there again. In addition, no one wants to feel like they’re being watched 24/7 on cameras.

Summary: We came to Fort Wayne for a wedding and needed someplace close to downtown. Most of the wedding guests stayed in hotels downtown, but we wanted someplace with a little more room to spread out ... this rental was perfect! Communication was prompt and effective. Property was neat, clean, and exactly as described. Very tastefully and comfortably decorated. Rehearsal, ceremony, reception .... we were never more than a 10 minute drive from anything we needed, and it was great to have a kitchen with plates, cups, utensils, etc. with full-size fridge we could use for the weekend, plus a dining room table we could all sit at (there were only three of us, but the table would easily seat six.) We didn't cook, beyond sandwiches and cereal, but the kitchen appeared very well stocked. It also helped having a washer, dryer, and ironing board downstairs. (stairs are narrow, though, so be careful!) The only tiny thing that inconvenienced us was that the majority of the outlets/plugs in the house are two-prong. Two of our laptops needed three prong receptacles, so we had to make sure they were charged (usually charged them overnight in the kitchen) before we could use them at the dining room table or in the living room. Not a big deal to us, but if someone was planning to work for an extended time and needed to plug in, it might be problematic. Be aware the drive way is narrow, with a lamp post on one side and a small concrete barrier on the other, so if you're driving in for the first time at night, and drive a large suv or other oversize vehicle, you'll want to be careful until you can gauge the space in the daylight. But zero hesitation to recommend the property ..... I would gladly book and stay here again if needed!! Thank you!

Summary: We had so much fun staying in Fort Wayne for the wedding we attended. CONs of the house, -The floors were super squeaky, so it was hard to be quiet during our daughter's nap time (obviously can't change this, just something to note). -there was no toaster or pizza cutter, so we had to get creative with food ideas. - there were no condiments, so when we went shopping we had to buy lots (Ketchup, peanut butter, jelly, coffee creamer), we did not expect a full fridge, by any means, but a little something would've been nice. -the smart thermastat kept resetting to eco at 85 degrees or 75 degrees. So we'd wake up sweating and we'd turn it down to 71, but it wouldn't stick. -all supplies were low (tp, soap, kleenex, dish soap), so we had to be sparse about what we used & ended up buying our own, in order to not run out. -driveway was suuuuper bumpy, making it scary backing out. PROs of the house: - we loved the back porch and back yard -house was beautifully updated! -nice and spacious for our daughter to explore -it wasn't far from downtown, so our commute to wedding events was not as long as we had planned. -Mike and Sherry left notes of everything to do, places to eat, and stores that were nearby -the property was mainly clean when we arrived (minus a dirty bathroom floor, no biggy). -new smart appliances were a nice touch. -open creepy basement, but I felt safe going down there because it was relatively empty. -big kitchen sink made bathing a baby much easier than using the bathtub. -clean counter tops and beautiful kitchen table. If we're ever in fort wayne again, we'd happily book this property! Thank you, Mike and Sherry! We couldn't find the recycling bin though. Would highly recommend staying here!

Summary: From the initial inquiry and until the departure, the experience was very enjoyable! The hosts were friendly, responsive and informative. The neighborhood was safe, clean and inviting. The house was as advertised - super clean, very well decorated, well-stocked inventory of everything you need - kitchen, bed/bath, etc. Will definitely look to stay here, again, on my next trip to Ft.
