Secluded forest setting at the end of a private street, conveniently close to the Airport! And close to hiking trails, ski slopes, shopping, and downtown Anchorage. We're also only a few minutes drive from the Alaska Zoo and Anchorage Golf course. Southeast Anchorage has a very peaceful and serene setting. The Moose Time Lodge is located at the end of a private street with no through traffic. It is surrounded by pristine Alpine Forest, so the views are serene and relaxing. Wildlife sightings are common, especially Moose, which are gentle most of the time, but we advise to keep your distance! The apartment unique furniture and furnishings including blackout curtains, and has been decorated with a modern rustic theme in keeping with Lodge living.
We have plenty of parking for your car, boat, RV, or dog sled! Extra parking in the back if needed. Walking distance to great hiking trails and parks. Minutes away from the Hiltop Ski Resort with Black Diamond hills and ski jumps for the daring! Snow shoe or ski right out our door and down to the nearby groomed cross county ski course. Sporting good rentals available nearby.

Summary: Great 1st experience to using VRBO and this venue was awesome. The host was responsive and worked with me through booking issues. Supre close to everything but on the edge of the city so no late night noise.

Summary: Cozy place. The pictures show nice hardwood flooring but it's been changed since then to lvp - no big deal. We made good use of the well-stocked kitchen (replenish the salt btw). The owner helped me out with info about my car rental and remote. Many thanks. Saw a moose on the 2nd day hanging out by the roadside.
