This cozy cabin is nestled in the pines & aspens of Higgins Gulch. It is less than 10 minutes from Downtown Spearfish and all the shops & restaurants. 15 minutes from Spearfish Canyon and 25 Minutes from Sturgis and Historic Deadwood. Enjoy nature with plenty of hiking, biking and ATV trails around you.
Whether it is a getaway for one to disconnect from the world, or a romantic weekend for two, you will find it here!
Updates: No more sofa sleeper...We now have a real bed! We also added a portable A/C unit to keep the temperature nice and cool in the summer, as well as window shades for extra privacy at night. You will also enjoy more seating on the expansive deck overlooking the Hilltop filled with Pine, Aspen and rock formations. Finally, we have wifi! So if you want to stay connected on social media, stream a show on our Roku TV, or just do some online shopping during your vacation, you can!
We also have a love seat glider on the deck to relax to the views, as well as a fire pit and BBQ to enjoy some out door cooking and gazing at the stars.

Summary: Our cabin stay was perfect for both us and our pets! The property was private and peaceful, with plenty of wildlife for the dogs to watch from the porch. Summary: Pictures online did not give it justice! Way nicer in person. We were looking for a nice Private get away and it was just that. Even with Sturgis starting up, this cabin is tucked away between the hills. Blocking the noise of the town and nearby road. Making it Peaceful & Relaxing. Just what we needed. Truely recommended for a couple looking to get away from their busy day to day lives.

Summary: Great view and very private with wild deer -turkeys-chipmunks and even a coyote. Cabin was very clean and had most amenities needed. Ac worked very well as did all other utilities that were needed. Located only 10 minutes from town or 15 minutes from iron creek lake Host was very courteous and gave all information we needed before-during and after our visit. ( on our phone ) The deck and seating is a big plus with a fire pit Also a Nice place to get that perfect tan We will definitely be back again !! 👍

Summary: We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the log cabin. We also enjoyed the trails that we could hike on. Roger was very nice and bent over backwards to answer our questions and respond to our requests.
