2 Bedroom Cabin in Rock Island

So glad Grumpy's is finally finished, it's been a fun 4-year complete remodel project, working weekends and constantly looking for pieces to make it Unique. Grumpy's Getaway is located directly across the road from Rock Island State Park, It has 2 bedrooms, a walk in shower, a wraparound Porch with a Hot Tub perfect for relaxing. Also, has a 50 amp RV plug at the corner of the Cabin if needed to charge an electric vehicle. Firewood is provided, along with kindling.
We are proud to say that we have the cleanest Hot Tub in Tennessee!!
The Hot Tub is drained after each guest checks out, then washed, cleaned, and vacuumed.
Then the Hot Tub is refilled with fresh water and proper chemicals added.
Then before the next Guests check in, the Water is checked with Test Strips to guarantee you are sitting in the Best Water possible!!

Summary: Wonderful cabin located close to Rock Island State Park. Absolutely beautiful clean place to stay. We brought our own food so we didn’t eat out. It had high speed internet which was good cause our cell phone coverage wasn’t. It was better than the pictures. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Brad for letting us stay at your awesome cabin.

Summary: The property is set in a nice area mostly away from other homes on a country road with lots of trees. The outside is very well done with a Edison lights, a large fire pit and a hot tub. The cabin has a rustic look with a lot of kitschy antique looking signs, fishing and camping gear etc. there is a large wrap around porch that makes the outdoor space an extension of the cabin. Inside, the cabin is rustic style but modern. There is a lot of wood and the bathroom appears to even be reclaimed wood. The shower is great. Good amount of room. The wood floors are very nice as well. Cabin is fairly private in that there is only one other house visible so it feels very private. The cabin overall is very well done. You could tell someone spent a good amount of time restoring it and making it into a very nice space. We enjoyed our stay. It is close to many waterfalls and gorgeous state parks.i would stay here again.

Summary: To start off every Thanksgiving, my children and I rent a VRBO for a quick getaway. In all the years we’ve been doing this, this cabin is the very best place we’ve ever stayed! It was very cozy and clean. The layout was perfect with the hot tub and a fire pit. They already have firewood available to use. The hot tub was hands-down the cleanest hot tub I have ever been in. There was a TV outside that you could watch so we all watch football while in a hot tub. The kitchen was stopped with everything that you would need to cook with and clean. Lots of towels can’t express this enough. We didn’t even have to wash towels while we were there. We went to rock Island and went for hikes to see the waterfalls. There are a lot of things to do in that area. We are very grateful to have had such an amazing time together and we’ll be going back in the summer as we want to experience the cabin in a different season. I hardly suggest trying this cabin out if you are looking as you will not be disappointed.

Summary: Put your feet up and enjoy this clean, comfy, cozy, peaceful cabin! So many places to gather, to enjoy fresh air, a real wood fire ( all firewood provided), large covered porches and super clean hot tub! Inside is a smartly decorated two BR with comfy beds and linens.

Summary: One of the best vacation experiences we’ve had. The cabin had everything we needed, and the tv in front of the jacuzzi was an amazing touch. Nothing beats watching Saturday night football from a hot tub. The intimate nature of the fire pit with the lights was also a very nice touch. 10/10 we will return.
