Summary: My 2 teenage daughters and I were spending a weekend in Galena and this apartment was perfect for us. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. The owner was quick to respond when I had questions, and we barely heard any noise from upstairs. The little backyard was beautiful!

Summary: This property was beautiful and well kept. Easy to find wirh great directions. Very clean and comfortable. Loved all the extras left for our use such as drinks in the fridge, coffee, creamer, laundry, shower supplies, and even pet treats if we needed them. Hoping to stay again soon with my husband!

Summary: We were a bit leery of staying in part of a home but it was great. You are in a walk out basement with very big windows and a patio. The homeowners said we might hear their young children but we did not hear anything. There is a nice view if you like a bit of nature as we do. The interior is very well decorated yet comfortable. Rooms are spacious and the online pictures are accurate. The bed was comfortable, which is always important. Highly recommend a stay here!

Summary: Overall the space was very clean and furnished very nicely. I was very disappointed to find that i was staying in someone's basement. The property was advertised as a condo. My first communication with the owner was to be respectful of their home, and let them know if we were light sleepers because we may hear feet running around. I tried to communicate with the owner prior to and during the stay, but recieved no answer. I wanted to bring food to grill. But she never responded to my email asking if there was a grill available. When we arrived, there was a half dressed man at the door. The outside of the property was beutiful, however we couldn't enjoy it because there were multiple wasp and wasp nest under the deck (that was advertised as a car port). I couldnt enjoy the stay because i could hear noise from upstairs, coughing, and didn't want to disturb someone"small children". The only reason I booked with vrbo is because the main thing they advertise is that you don't, "SHARE A HOUSE WITH ANYONE". The property was beutiful. It is a shame i couldn't fully enjoy it. I would not book again. Sorry.

Summary: The house was easy to find and only about a 20 minute drive from Galena where we spent the day. We planned to use the fire pit that was there that night but it ended up storming so we stayed in a watched the TV which had many streaming options. We heard the kids running around upstairs but we were aware of this ahead of time so not an issue. Overall, it was a nice stay for the 2 of us for the night.
