Summary: Room was clean and newly remodled. It needed a small bar on the tub/shower

Summary: Even with renovations underway, the place was fine. Some upkeep/maintenance was needed in the room we had - 117. The price was higher than what I would expect from such a place, but there isn't that much competition in Winterset.

Summary: In the middle of renovations but was hardly noticeable. Everyone was super kind and friendly. Very quiet. Decent breakfast in an out of the way room.

Summary: The room was clean and comfortable and climate control worked well. The pet fee was reasonable, BUT there needs to be more parking lot lighting to make it safe to walk dogs, and there needs to be a trash container for bagged pet waste. The lack of lighting was a BIG problem. Only one working outdoor light on the far end of the building.

Summary: It was good other than the receptionists friends smoking weed outside the first night second night we packed up and left when we heard her screaming on her cell phone at what seemed to be her father. Not very professional on a personal phone with customers coming in.
