Positive: We had a nice balcony and a view of the courtyard.

Negative: We wish the room had a microwave and wish we could connect our Chromecast device to the tv.

Positive: Since we were visiting relatives in the Northern Suburbs the location was excellent. It is also a nice, quick drive from O'Hare. The #1 reason that I liked the hotel was from the moment I stepped inside the doors my prior encounters that I had had with everyone at the airport and car rental after a 10 hour flight (which was horrible) was instantly forgotten as we received the most wonderful, genuine, caring and friendly greeting from the front desk attendant MELISSA JOHNSON. We had been traveling from Europe and had left very early. Since it was a day flight we had not slept on the plane either. Her kindness made me cry and I was so happy after she checked us in. I do hope that the hotel sees this and will recognize her. The room was very large (we are use to European rooms), the bathroom was large and clean with excellent water pressure and the vanity area was well lite. Since we traveled from Europe we were wide awake at 4am so it was so nice that the gym is 24 hours and we were able to get a nice work out before the sun came out. The gym also has excellent tasting water. There is a pool but we missed the hours it was open. There is plenty of free parking. If I come back to the area I will look at staying here again.

Negative: When we checked in I was asked if I would like daily housekeeping and I said yes. (I cannot stand to make my bed and think that is the greatest feeling after being out all day to come back and see your bed is made.) Only once in our stay did we get housekeeping. The only day that we received it was that we went to the front desk after going to the gym to make sure that we got service. I also laid our towel outside the room. (even though I have no problem reusing towels I just followed what another room had done).

Positive: The location was good for my getting around to the events I was handling. My room was quiet. Everyone was friendly enough.

Negative: My room was not cleaned after my first night. Thus, when I awakened the second morning, I was not able to make a cup of coffee (which was used the prior morning).

Summary: I would come back--the price was reasonable and the room/facilities nice enough.

Positive: We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at the hotel. The staff was very friendly, the room was spacious and clean, and the property was maintained very well. We were very comfortable. The breakfast we paid for when we booked the hotel was great, and the availability of the coffee and bar is so convenient. The staff even went out of their way to help us when there was a plumbing issue in the middle of the night. They offered to switch our rooms immediately, but we chose not to, so we wouldn't have to move our kids. So, we decided to stay and clean up the water, and the front desk provided us with everything we needed to help clean it up. And then in the morning, they offered further assistance with future stays. Plumbing happens, and we were not in the least upset by an issue that was completely out of their control, and we were so impressed with how they handled it. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Negative: The only thing that would make this hotel better is a hot tub.
