Negative: The bed wasn't that comfortable you can't watch TV in bed as the TV is on the wrong side of the wall and there's no privacy in the hot tub people from upstairs the neighbours next door and people from the canal can all see you in the hot tub

Positive: Beautiful location. Decor and style as pictured. Very clean and towels beautiful. Very accommodating host who allowed us to use the apartment for our wedding prep and wedding night. Thank you, Mel. Great file of information available. Loved the touch of milk and biscuits waiting for us on arrival. Bathroom and shower stunning. Water temp and flow perfect. Bedroom storage and dressing table just the right amount of space. Good space in utility to hang my dress the night before. The corner sofa is super comfy. Bed comfy for me, husband found the bed a little firm. The apartment is the ground floor of a house but feels private, quiet, and cosy. Wouldn't hesitate to book again!

Negative: Didn't get enough time with our wedding to get in the hot tub. Nothing else.

Positive: Apartment was in a rural area, but quick access to the town/village. Lovely canalside walk. Really quiet area. All amenities were good. Guidebook with pieces of local information were a lovely touch. Perfect for a relaxing get away. Hot tub was nice. There were some board games provided. Cookies and milk were left as a welcome, which were very much appreciated. Some nice touches such as hand soap/ hand cream in the bathroom. Teas/coffee in the kitchen.

Negative: Some of the rules were misunderstood, however on communicating with the host this was resolved. Could do with blinds or something to pull across the bi-fold doors as its open plan and if you are sleeping on the sofa bed, the sunrise or any light from outside could be disruptive to sleep.

Positive: Gorgeous property in the most perfect relaxing location. The owner Mel has clearly gone to every possible effort to make this apartment perfect for guests to enjoy. Very clean and comfortable with everything you could need for your stay in Poynton. A special mention to the hot tub and walk in shower, luxuries that were hard to say goodbye to at the end of our stay!
