Summary: I stayed only for 1 night and at first the room was okay, average size with a really tiny ensuite but generally clean. However, soon I realised that the thermostat to regulate the heat did not work - I was too hot. I could open the windows a crack but they overlooked the car park and this would be unsafe and compromise my privacy as I was on the ground floor. At night, the place was really noisy. Kept me awake for quite a long time. I stayed in the annexe on the ground floor and the upstairs occupants were constantly moving around. Noise insulation was non existent. When it comes to the ensuite shower room - it was so tight that to sit on the WC was actually not possible without turning myself at an angle of 45 degrees! Another annoying thing was that I was charged 8 pounds to park my car overnight, but as the hotel seemed to have a function all the parking spaces were taken and it took me ages to find a parking spot. All these issues created a very uncomfortable night for me, and I will not be returning or recommending this hotel.
