4 Bedroom Villa in Olmedo, Alghero

Modern villa, with swimming pool, situated in the countryside 9 Kms from Alghero town.
On the raised ground floor there is the living room and kitchen and two large bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Upstairs on the first floor are two other bedrooms, one with a double and one single bed. The second bedroom upstairs has a double bed and two single beds. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. The two upstairs bedrooms have independent air conditioning. Downstairs is a central aircon system.
There is a large furnished veranda and the villa is surrounded by a lovely well maintained garden with lawn. There is WiFi internet access throughout the house. The Wi-Fi is via a fixed phoneline and gives very good internet service, unlike most villas in the area that offer Wi-Fi via a dongle. These usually give a very poor reception in the countryside.
Outside there is a swimming pool which is fully equipped with sun loungers etc, so there is plenty of room to relax around the pool. Also a big plus for this property close to the pool there is a large ''pool house'' which is fully furnished with comfy seating and table and chairs for outside dining. There is a kitchen area, fridge and Barbeque and outside the pool house there is a nice patio area overlooking the pool.
Situated in a quiet, but not isloated rural location. It is an Ideal base to explore the area around Alghero. less then 5mins walk away is a great Agriturismo restaurant, serving traditional Sardinian food including 'porcetto' suckling pig.
This is a great place for a families or groups of up to 10 people. Ideal for up to 8 people, but on request we may be able to accommodate one or two extra guests.

Summary: The villa and it’s surraundings were very nice. The size of the villa was good for four adults and four children. It was well equipt and children loved the pool. Villa is located near Alghero in a peaceful place. Owners of the place were very very nice and helpful.

Summary: We had a very hot week (mid - high 30s) and the house was excellent for this with a pool big enough for proper swimming to cool off in and a lovely terrace to sit and relax with a dining table for meals. We were a party of 5 adults and the house suited us very well - it could easily accommodate 8 people and with the big living area at the pool house it would be very comfortable for a group with teenagers who wanted to be separate from the adults. The directions to the property were easy to follow and the owner met us on arrival and explained everything we needed to know. The house was very clean and the bed linen was spotless and crisp. We spent a fair bit of time at the house but also explored the area. We very much enjoyed going to Alghero (about 15 minutes drive away) and its atmospheric old town to eat and wander in the evenings. We went up to pretty Stintino and then on to spectacular Spiaggia Pelosa and also visited Castelsardo with its castle and medieval streets and fantastic views - both destinations about an hour away. So the house is well located for touring round. It is in quite a rural location although there are other houses around but you hardly notice the existence of other people apart from the occasional vehicle in the access road beside the pool. The fixtures and fittings are not hotel quality (for example the white goods in the kitchen are not new and the bathroom fittings are not high spec) but everything works fine and was clean and this did not bother us . We had a great week.
